Yeah, and because it happens in the first five minutes of the movie, my mind was kind of elsewhere. Like you're dropped into this world, and I really wasn't expecting the movie to begin directly after the events of Practical Magic One. And I think how I missed that is I was just looking at the de-aging effects on Nicole Kidman and Sandra Bullock.
Yeah, it was a little fast for me. I was like, wait, who died? Like that's what I was trying to figure out when that scene was happening. I was like, who is that guy? And it's like, oh, of course, the cop that she met at the end of the first film. I do think they could have addressed this within a beautiful montage set to Enya, potentially. Also in our defense.
Friends, there is a scene in the first Practical Magic where Sandra Bullock storms into the aunt's home and is like, My daughters are never gonna practice magic, which is effectively what she says at the grave. So, like, sorry I didn't realize that was a spell. Good point. I don't know. If us and a bunch of other movie critics didn't clock this, I'm just gonna say job not well done. So really, I apologize

Big step up for Emporio Armani. Potentially a step down for Dario.

This does feel like a test because many fashion houses, their main financial driver is their accessories, their shoes, their sunglasses, their bags. And while I actually do have a few Armani bags, I think they're quite great and kind of slept on. Armani is one of the few fashion houses where The clothes are actually what sells more than the accessories.
