Kim and Grandma Gail share their thoughts on all things Hamptons—what’s new, what’s changed since Gail’s day, and what might not be worth the hype. They also catch each other up on their weekends: Kim just got back from LA, and Grandma attended a graduation ceremony (with notes, of course). They weigh in on this week’s headlines, including the Hailey Bieber Rhode deal, and break down the generational shift in how people spend and socialize in the Hamptons (Read about it here). As always, the episode includes a new Grandma Report, listener questions in Ask Grandma Anything, and a round of Drama Club that covers everything from relationships to reality checks. To submit a question, call Grandma Gail’s Hotline, DM @excusemygrandma, or email [email protected] us onInstagram @excusemygrandma TikTok @excusemygrandma Watch on YouTubeSpotifyMusic By: Guy Kelly00:00: Introduction11:23: The Grandma Report27:58: Ask Grandma Anything30:08: Grandma Gail’s Voicemail 32:05: The Drama Club 35:52: The Rewind37:42: Should We Bring It Back
Chapter 1: What did Kim do over Memorial Day weekend?
Chapter 2: What is the Grandma Report about this week?
Right.
So it's less people here. It definitely was busy. I will say just generally with New York, like you're so used to seeing people on the street and feeling the energy of people. And I'm always like, where is everybody?
Yeah, well, they're in their cars. Right, they're in their cars. They're having a nervous breakdown. They're in their cars in traffic.
I feel like we were basically on an eating tour. We had a lot of reservations. That's fine.
Well, that's every city, you know, wherever you go.
Unless, I guess, you could be going to museums or... Oh, you could. You didn't do that at all? We went to a movie lot. We went to Warner Brothers to get one of those tours. You were starstruck. Well, we both love film. And so we get there and it's so cheesy. Like there's like... die nicht mehr Schauspieler sind.
