similar standing, but yes, Jameis Winston is going to be the starter for the foreseeable future, maybe for the rest of the season. It's not officially not officially out for the year, but it sounds like he's headed to season ending surgery. So you'd love to see Dart Dart come back at the end of the year and and maybe show some signs of still being the the fantasy breakout candidate that he was going into this season, but he's not going to help fantasy managers most for most of this year. So uh in redraft leagues, you know, maybe you stash him on an IR spot just to see. But I I think this is a guy we're gonna end up dropping. And then hopefully Jameis can come in and do some of the things that Jameis has been known for, which is giving his receivers chances to make plays, giving us some, you know, great fantasy performances, but also frustrating us with lots of interceptions, several pick sixes, and, you know, not always being the most competent quarterback.
We'll see how long Harbaugh sticks with him. Um you know, if they decide to go an an another route as well. I just think that Jameis is a must add in Superflex and two quarterback leagues. And with Dart being out and Daniels being out and Caleb Williams being out for how long ever long he's gonna be out now Tyson Titus and Bajin's out also. Um, you know, you might be looking at Jameis in in one quarterback leagues also.
And if you're in a super flex league and you don't need a quarterback, it's really not a bad idea to go out and get that next one anyway. Give you some depth, give you maybe a player you can trade for something better than what was on the waiver wire. Uh so you know, like I don't need Jameis Winston in my super flex league. I'm going to put in a bit. I'm probably not gonna put in as much as someone who need to I'm not gonna get him, I think, because the Jackson Dart manager is probably gonna unload, but whatever, we'll see. You never know. You never know. Dave, um, all right, so listen, Jameis Winston, when he took over for seven starts in 2024 with Cleveland, he was on pace for nearly five thousand yards and twenty-nine touchdowns and of course twenty-nine interceptions.
Uh his pass catchers. Scattered. I mean Jerry Judy was on pace for over 1900 yards. Unbelievable stuff. Cedric Tillman in his three healthy games was on pace for almost 10 tar nine and a half targets, 1,200 yards, 17 touchdowns. He had caught a touchdown a game and only three healthy games. Elijah Moore was on pace for 141 targets, was okay. Nojoku kind of struggled. I don't think he was fully healthy, but Yeah, the the question is, is this even that big of a downgrade for the Giants pass catchers?
Man, I hope neighbors is as good as those guys. I I I I buy into Jameis Winston's style of play. Jamie talked about it. He's an he's an all or nothing type of quarterback. Uh I've where do I have it? I've got it in my notes. He's like the lowest among qualifiers in rate of passes at or behind the line of scrimmage and second highest on throws of 10 plus air yards.
