24 Dec 2025
Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
Ho, ho, ho, ho! Merry Christmas!
Welcome to the Fantasy Footballers Podcast with your hosts, Andy Holloway, Jason Moore, and Mike Wright.
Hi! Welcome in. It's Christmas and title time for me.
Chapter 2: What are the backup options for fantasy football this week?
Not you.
I'm pointing at Andy.
Wow. So much is going on inside of Mike's brain right now.
Way to launch the show.
Chapter 3: What are the latest NFL news and injury updates affecting fantasy lineups?
Well, I couldn't point at Jason because he's... I am still in a championship. He's technically in one. I'm in a championship. Oh, you are? Yes. Oh, you're in the... I take it.
The expert league. I'm facing Mike Clay.
It was a funny bit. Yeah, no, I mean, I don't feel like it. Wait, wait, wait.
Chapter 4: Who are the top starts of the week for quarterbacks?
Who could you put at? Is there anyone in this room you could point at? Because I'm in a title game. Oh, wait a minute.
Chapter 5: Which running backs should you start this championship week?
Oh, yeah. Papa Josh. No, you're... Poopa Josh. Poopa Josh.
Chapter 6: What wide receivers are must-starts for the upcoming matchups?
I'm in too good of a mood. It doesn't matter.
Chapter 7: How do tight end options vary for fantasy players this week?
Is this a Christmas mood? Yeah, I'm better. I'm better.
Chapter 8: What should fantasy managers know about the Cowboys vs. Commanders game?
I had a lot of people reach out. You slept it off? Yeah, I'm way better now. Nice. Nice.
I had a lot of alcohol. It all went away. No, we've got championship week, and that's why we're here. It's Christmas Eve. Merry Christmas, everybody. We got Merry Meg is what I'm calling it today.
Oh, I like it. It's not just a mini Meg. It's kind of merry.
It's a merry Meg. We've got Wednesday and Thursday's segments today, and then we'll be back on Friday, the day after Christmas, getting you primed for championship weekend because, well, that's kind of important.
Yeah, and we'll have, at that point in time, we will actually have several games to go over. Amazing, amazing football on Christmas. I mean, I just can't wait for these great matchups on Christmas. It didn't work out very well for Netflix.
No, no. Remember last year? Last year was a bad Christmas for me because I was looking forward to the Houston Texans Baltimore game. I had four players in my title game against Al Borland. And all four stunk, and it was over on Christmas Day.
It is a very strong spin of the roulette wheel, giving us championship games on Christmas.
Yeah, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday this week, got a Monday night game, so your championships spread out across four different evenings of tilt.
Yeah, very particularly. We will wake up on the West Coast, and football will not be far away.
