Welcome back to another What's Working in Ag segment. It's just Corey. And that's the best way to go. Dave's watching. Tanner's not even here. And that's how we like it. We are on the third day of Farm Progress Show here at the Sukup booth in the Sukup building here. Looks like a little more weather coming in. We got cut off short yesterday. That kind of... That kind of sucked. But what's working in ag segment is to get right down to the bottom of it and learn what is working in ag. And we've had one of these before on grant writing, equip, reap, all that kind of stuff for energy. And we've got a new group over here that I haven't seen in the Zucca building. Looks like GDS. We've got Bethany and David with me.
Bethany, who are you? What do you do?
Good morning. Thanks for having us on here today. So I'm a senior energy consultant with GDS Associates. Been doing energy work at Ag for about 18 years now. Okay. Doing energy audits, feasibility studies, helping folks decide what's the next best step for saving energy, improving bottom line, determine if renewable energy makes sense from solar to wind, digesters, geothermal, and then also helping them figure out is there grant money available, is there incentives through utilities, all that kind of stuff to make it affordable.
Perfect. I'll probably have you go a little closer with that if you can. There you go. You got to kind of eat it sometimes.
All right, David, what about you? So I started with GDS about a month ago as associate engineer. I'm looking forward to get into it. My background's been in agriculture. I grew up on a dairy farm. And then I've been an agronomist my whole life, but I understand a whole bunch of ag systems and all that. And the biggest reason they wanted to hook me on is that I really get along with farmers and growers. I can relate immediately. So the interpersonal connections that we can make right away can kind of help solve the solutions that we need to figure out. And where is GDS located?
Green Bay. Green Bay, Wisconsin. Yes, sir. Titletown. So we can come up for a football game.
That's right. You bet. I've been there a
couple times. Stayed in Appleton. So it's a beautiful place. The first time I was there, I got the nostalgic snow game. It was perfect.
And what I
love about Wisconsin is it snowed eight inches the night before and the roads weren't plowed and everyone was just driving 65.

So, yeah, we're located in the Green Bay office. We actually have offices across the country. Okay. So our home office is in Georgia. We've got New Hampshire, Maine, Florida, Washington, Texas, several other places. Wow. So you
cover it all. And is
it all ag that you guys cover? We do not. We're across the energy gamut. So we've got consultants that work on power lines, on right-of-ways, on rates. Our group specializes in ag, though.
