31.52 - 78.165 Unknown

Welcome back to another well you've changed my show notes as always i am comrade commissar will apparently who's who now i need to be more caffeinated for this who's on first what's on second this is all part of the psyop so you guys never actually figure out who i am i mean is a pup i thought this is part of the psyop to figure out so i could not figure out who i actually am

0

80.035 - 83.739 Mike

I was just figuring myself out, and now you're trying to psy out me? That's kind of rude.

0

84.119 - 86.381 Unknown

It's like fucking MKUltra, but MKLame.

0

89.885 - 91.306 Mike

LameKUltra.

91.326 - 111.405 Unknown

Yeah, LameKUltra. You don't get LSD, and you don't come out of it with any kind of super autistic or strange mental powers. You don't even come out of it with the desire to live in a cabin in the middle of Montana. You just come out of it not even remembering what your own damn name is. And the CIA goes, well, shit, that one failed. Next.

113.609 - 115.892 Mike

The entire life you thought you lived was a lie.

117.835 - 132.135 Unknown

I saw a Reddit post one time, which is a terrible place to ever be, Reddit. Some dude who claims to have gotten knocked out for like 20 minutes and then lived the equivalent of 10 years while he was knocked out in his head.

134.518 - 136.401 Dusty

Brain be doing fucky shit, man.

Chapter 2: What exciting announcements were made at Shot Show 2026?

277.846 - 289.49 Mike

And if you get to start over, then you will just make entirely new bad choices good. Or you'll make new good and bad choices. As typical. You'll become a completely different person from the one that entered that 16-year-old life.

0

289.51 - 303.86 Dusty

Well, I mean, that's like living... That's like living life now. I mean, we're still making bad choices and becoming different people every day. So it's the same thing. You just get to do it for longer, but you won't make some of the same bad choices you made before that made life a lot more fun.

0

304.621 - 311.767 Mike

The only thing you can really do with that information is start investing in stocks early. No, fuck stocks. Like the right stocks.

0

311.807 - 337.118 Unknown

You invest in Mosin-Nagant SKSs, and I remember being an imported ammo. Roughly 20 years old. And not owning any guns at that point. So six years ago? Close enough. And thinking to myself, like, man, the Dragunov in video games is really cool. Can you, like, buy one of those? And looking it up, and it turns out, I guess you can, but they're really expensive. What's this Romanian PSL?

0

337.859 - 365.202 Unknown

Which, if people don't know, a Romanian PSL is not a Dragunov. Some individuals out there have called them. It's basically Dragunov. No, it's not. It's a stretched out AK. But the point being, it serves the same DMR function. But these days, those damn things are like $2,600 or more. I saw them online with a scope. No, PSL. This is all about the PSL. I saw them. Right now, they're $2,500 plus.

365.843 - 376.341 Unknown

I saw them online years ago. for $700 with the optic in a case and multiple mags. And I was just like, I guess that's neat. I don't have $700.

377.303 - 383.715 Mike

Anybody else remember when Dragunovs were $2,500? Because I do. I mean, you're that old.

383.955 - 385.177 Unknown

Some of us weren't born then.

386.68 - 388.243 Mike

Okay, pipe down, young one.

Chapter 3: What are the features of the new SAK-21 rifle?

547.353 - 569.349 Mike

That's what the mute button's for. Things started to change. My opinion of them soured, and just wanting to go overall. I'm not sure I want to go overall, but fuck SHOT Show. All right, Will.

0

573.776 - 576.099 Dusty

So are you actually done, Mike?

0

576.54 - 583.751 Mike

Yes. I know that it's going to be super suppressor based this year. And I think that's really cool.

0

583.771 - 587.497 Unknown

Big time. Everything is freaking integrated suppressor on this.

0

587.637 - 595.89 Mike

It's going to be so much to talk about. Like, there's not one thing to pick about. So I'm just, you know, one of these days we'll figure it out. Go ahead, Will. I'm sorry. I'm done.

597.71 - 623.498 Dusty

What people are going to think is really stupid, but I think it's fucking awesome. And I'm looking for the tab right now. So I've talked about this before, maybe on here, but definitely with you guys. I've got this nifty little pullout sling that is made by Flux Defense and it goes on. It was made for the Raider. But yeah, well, we know you don't.

623.478 - 638.106 Dusty

It was made for the Raider, but I've actually got one on my Vector 2. I can't find the one that I want to find, the tab that I want to find, because I got so many of them open. But this is the same company, Sunshine Safety. Say that five times fast.

638.326 - 644.839 Unknown

Sunshine Safety, Sunshine Safety, Sunshine Safety, Sunshine Safety, Sunshine Safety. Sunshine Safety Shells.

645.16 - 664.774 Dusty

They've got... This was their version one single point sling that just rolls up into a little elastic band so it's super tiny and stays out of the way. They just came out with a Gen 2 that's a two point sling and it packs up into a little pocket similar to this sling. It just packs into this little elastic slot.

Chapter 4: What practical drills were discussed for improving shooting skills?

1240.645 - 1261.653 Unknown

And you're like, this is cool. Put it in my pocket. So the other thing I had around it, and again, this will either, I've known this thing existed. I only have ever seen it in a Grand Thumb video, so I wasn't quite sure it was ever going to be real. It is the SAK-21 from Stenzel Industries.

0

1262.013 - 1263.195 Dusty

Oh, yeah, I did see that today.

0

1264.289 - 1267.297 Unknown

It is a $4,000 not AK.

0

1268.44 - 1276.301 Mike

I was starting to get interested until you said $4,000. I hadn't looked at the price yet. I was just looking at the style. It's an interesting concept.

0

1276.763 - 1279.851 Dusty

It has the same safety as a fucking Remington 870.

1280.506 - 1306.345 Unknown

no i don't think it does it have it's a crossbolt safety oh shit i didn't know that that's so dumb all right never mind i'm out oh four thousand dollars crossbolt safety kill yourself so oh man um i'm gonna leave it up on the screen momentarily

1306.662 - 1308.785 Mike

That came to a screeching halt.

1308.805 - 1334.512 Unknown

But it is not. So it's, I guess, the mindset behind this SAK-21 was somebody sat down and thought, all right, I want to build an AK, but the American way. So start from the ground up. And essentially what they landed on is not an AKM pattern rifle. It's an upgraded VZ-58 because it's running off a short stroke gas piston. Which is fine.

1334.532 - 1348.212 Unknown

I'm not saying, like, oh, it has to be at log... There does come a point, I think, where you have departed so far from the original, you got your own thing now, and it just looks like the old thing. It'd be like if you built an AR that was...

Chapter 5: How do Glock mags enhance the usability of certain firearms?

1723.987 - 1735.003 Mike

Well, speaking of, go ahead. I bought you for a bag of Cheetos. That's so degrading.

0

1734.983 - 1755.135 Dusty

it's the little it's the little type not even like a full bag just the kid's snack version hey dusky that's the brother i'm talking about all yours i'm not gonna say that part out loud though oh you may not even you may be able to cut the middle man out if he's in the navy just go straight to the source just bring some hot dogs

0

1757.866 - 1778.759 Dusty

I saw that CZ is bringing back a modernized, or not modernized, but a modern iteration of a pre-B CZ-75. I saw that too. No firing pin block. The grips aren't Bakelite, but I'm sure Bakelite's basically impossible to make these days.

0

1779.82 - 1794.675 Unknown

I mean, the thing about the original CZ-75 is that the originals were Bakelite, but they were black. So you can cheat your way around it versus that, you know, that beat the beaver puke bake light. That's like, Oh wait, that's, that's the stuff.

0

1795.395 - 1801.281 Dusty

But yeah, spur hammer. It's the same grip pattern as the original. So you can put aftermarket grips on it.

Chapter 6: How does the PKM import situation impact gun enthusiasts?

1801.841 - 1816.594 Dusty

It looks pretty sweet. Yeah. I still would prefer to buy a surplus, uh, even if it's a B and I'd rather have a ring hammer. Cause I don't want all that hammer bite, but it's cool for collectors. Hammer bite does suck.

0

1818.937 - 1826.329 Unknown

I never actually got hammer bites until I started shooting my 1911 more aggressively and not one-handed. And then I started getting it all the fucking time.

0

1827.47 - 1838.167 Mike

You don't like your guns reminding you that you held it wrong? Not that many times. That's not how you hold me. You hold me properly or you get that again.

0

1838.988 - 1841.873 Dusty

You get that hand up as high on the butt as you can.

0

1841.893 - 1846.019 Unknown

And the 1911 was like, no, fuck you.

1846.039 - 1853.575 Dusty

Yep, exactly. I would modify you into compliance.

1854.556 - 1857.98 Mike

Into where I can just grab your butt. Speaking of grabbing butts.

1859.642 - 1863.386 Unknown

Speaking of grabbing butts. Everybody's favorite company.

1863.426 - 1863.907 Mike

Gideon Optics?

Chapter 7: What makes the SR3M a noteworthy firearm?

1943.982 - 1946.206 Dusty

I thought U was just the under folder.

0

1946.627 - 1963.97 Unknown

No, U, I forget what it stands for, but like, oh God, here we go. The AKS-74U, which is the Krinkov, the short fucker. The AKS stands for, so that's the folding stock. And then the U, in whatever Cyrillic Russian nonsense, is for short.

0

1966.093 - 1968.236 Dusty

It's the Russian version of KERS.

0

1969.798 - 1982.234 Unknown

Basically, yeah. So anyway, that was actually easy. So the AK-101 I have behind me, when I dress it up like an AK-74, it's more like an AKS-74 because it has a side-folding stock.

0

1983.776 - 1990.469 Mike

Anyway. How did we actually manage to tangent into a show topic? Because we're cool.

1991.73 - 2005.765 Unknown

Speaking of things that are uncool, PSA. And their ever-revolving, their ever-revolving SHOT Show hype beast strategy of announce 10 products, release none of them, and announce them again next year.

2007.747 - 2009.329 Dusty

Although I want one of their Raider clones.

2009.99 - 2035.551 Unknown

That's one of the fucking things, though, that we're never going to get. So, the first thing I'm going to start off with is leading up to SHOT Show... They do nothing but release all these updates on products that they announced two years ago that are still coming soon, guys. Coming soon, guys. Every single one of them. They're little 5.7 PDW, not MP7, which, okay.

2035.571 - 2057.968 Unknown

And this is where I agree with you when we were talking earlier about companies should not be announcing crap if they don't have an end date in mind. They're, like, fully modular 870. No word at all about the .50 cal that they swore they were going to be building, which was clearly just a bunch of 3D printed parts stuck in a Barrett barrel. This is the one that really got me.

Chapter 8: How do the new gun designs compare to traditional models?

4384.285 - 4398.779 Dusty

So you just have to take your gun in the holster with a mag in it, pinch it between your hands a bunch, wear it around the house, and bump into stuff. And if that happens, I literally just cut a notch in my Kydex holster and that stopped happening.

0

4398.819 - 4401.321 Mike

Yeah, I might have to. I think

0

4402.111 - 4403.994 Dusty

Yeah. Cause you have to pull the pencil out slightly.

0

4404.495 - 4413.409 Mike

Yeah. So I was thinking about just trimming out that notch for that anyway, because I like to be able to pop my mag out when it's in the holster.

0

4414.791 - 4425.047 Dusty

I wouldn't do it too big. No, I want enough tolerance that it doesn't like shift a little funky in the holster and then still hit the edge of the cutout. Cause you don't want it pressing up against like your leg or something.

4425.297 - 4454.567 Mike

Yeah, no, I gotcha. I have all the holster cutting tools for a hobby I picked up for a year, several years ago, and I haven't touched since. So I can at least cut it out, polish it, and make it look pretty again. Make it look like Clicker actually should put his name on it. I won't tell anybody I cut your holster. Shh. Except everybody I just told.

4455.328 - 4460.236 Unknown

He's going to cut his holster. He's going to cut it. He's going to hurt it real bad.

4460.938 - 4463.622 Mike

So I'm going to look up extended mag releases right now.

4465.966 - 4470.014 Dusty

Yeah, this is just a Glock Factory one. I didn't spend tearing money.
