Chapter 1: What recent military actions has the U.S. taken in Syria?
The U.S. strikes Syria. I'm Debra Valentine, Fox News. The U.S. military launching a new strike against ISIS in Syria. Fox's Lucas Tomlinson reports from West Palm Beach, Florida.
U.S. Central Command released a video showing the strikes. It looks like it followed a similar pattern to the strikes we saw on December 19th. An A-10 warthog rolling down the strip along with F-15E strike eagles carrying out these strikes against ISIS. According to U.S. Central Command, the strikes were widespread across Syria. They included partner forces.

The strike follows the killing of two Iowa National Guard soldiers and their American interpreter, by ISIS. Anti-ice demonstrators continue in Minneapolis following the fatal shooting of an anti-ice demonstrator on Wednesday by an ICE officer who claims self-defense. Fox's Garrett Tenney reports from Minneapolis.
The protests here have just continued to ramp up after the release of new video showing the officer's point of view of the moments leading up to him fatally shooting 37-year-old Renee Good earlier this week.
Even after watching that new video, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Fry doubled down on his view that the shooting was completely unjustified and that the officer... We've got all two eyes and I can see a person that is trying to leave. I can see an ICE agent that was not run over by a car.
Today, Minneapolis police chief said that his officers are trying to walk this fine line now between targeting this criminal behavior that may be happening at protests and trying not to become a target of these large groups.
In Texas, Austin police have detained at least three demonstrators. The LAPD has detained at least one protester. America's listening to Fox News.
