While U.S. envoy Steve Witkoff plans another trip to Moscow for more peace talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
President Trump told business leaders at the World Economic Forum he believes both Putin and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky want to end the war, though says both leaders have backed away from deals. They got to get that war stopped because too many people are dying, needlessly dying. Too many souls are being lost.
The president says negotiators are reasonably close to a peace deal, though previous frameworks have failed over disputes about territory concessions and security agreements.

He wants to cap credit cards at 10 percent. Now, the president is saying that when you charge those exorbitant fees, that puts pressure on the bottom line of American families so they can't afford those down payments. He wants to use part 401k money for some of those down payments in there. So the housing issue is really a big one we were looking for here. We got a snippet of it.
