Chapter 1: What recent events in Minneapolis are impacting ICE's presence?
It's a time for ICE to leave Minnesota. I'm Daria Albinger, Fox News. President Trump says he's reviewing his administration's actions in Minneapolis where federal officers shot and killed a man on Saturday. It was the second such incident this month.
In a phone interview with the Wall Street Journal, the president wouldn't say if the officer who shot Alex Pretty did the right thing, but he said the administration is reviewing everything and will then make a decision. He also signaled, he says, a willingness to, in his words, eventually. withdraw ICE officials from the city.
The protests continued in Minneapolis despite the winter storm and bitter cold. That storm system is causing problems from the deep south to New England. Here in Boston, we are preparing for the worst of it. We are under a snow emergency, which means they want people to get off of the roads. Fox's Brian Yenish says Boston and other parts of Massachusetts could get up to two feet of snow.
But snow isn't the biggest danger. It's the bitter cold. It's turned deadly in places like Austin, Texas and New York City. New York Mayor Zoran Mamdani. For those without shelter, the intense cold can be fatal. Yesterday alone, before the snow had even begun to come down, at least five New Yorkers passed away and were found outside.
The storm also closed New York's LaGuardia Airport until further notice as airlines across the U.S. canceled more than 11,000 flights on Sunday. President Trump has warned Canada he'll impose a 100% tariff if it goes through with a trade deal with China. Treasury Secretary Scott Besson says this is a no-brainer.
We can't let Canada become an opening that the Chinese pour their cheap goods into the U.S.
Last week, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney said the world order has changed and Canada was looking to make some new alliances. Canada's internal trade minister, meanwhile, says Canada and China resolved several important trade issues but have not yet agreed to a trade deal. America's listening to Fox News.

Chapter 2: How is the winter storm affecting the northeastern United States?
while the latest ICE-involved shooting in Minneapolis may result in a government shutdown. A number of Democratic senators now say they won't vote for a spending bill to avert one because it funds ICE.
This bill funds 78% of the government. It includes money for DHS and the Pentagon. Independent Senator Angus King of Maine helped end the fall shutdown, but he will not vote yes this time because of ICE. New Hampshire Democrat Jeanne Shaheen did not respond directly when asked how she would vote.
People are outraged by what's happening in Minnesota and by the out-of-control officers, federal officers that they're seeing on the ground by this shooting. GOP South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham accused Democrats of backing out of a bipartisan deal. He called this, quote, reckless and disappointing.
Fox's Chad Pergram on Capitol Hill. The matchup is set for Super Bowl 60.
A pair of competitive but very different games on Sunday set the stage for Super Bowl 60. Enjoying ideal football weather, the Seahawks won a shootout over NFC West rivals the Rams 31-27. Sam Donald 346 yards and three touchdowns through the air. In Denver, the Patriots beat the Broncos 10-7 in blizzard conditions. Only three points scored in the second half once the snow rolled in.
That was enough for New England to advance to a record 12th Super Bowl. They'll try to win their seventh championship in a rematch of Super Bowl XLIX won by New England. I'm Tim McMaster, Fox News.
The big game is Sunday, February 10th. I'm Daria Albinger. This is Fox News.
