The Centre for Strategic and International Studies has published its findings as Russia's full-scale invasion approaches its fourth anniversary. The report warns that the number of soldiers killed, injured or missing on both sides of the conflict could hit two million by the spring. It says Russia has suffered 1.2 million casualties alone, including 325,000 troop deaths. Moscow is described as paying an extraordinary price for minimal gains. Well, the White House held a star-studded event on Wednesday to launch the Trump Accounts Program.
The president kicking off his signature Trump Accounts Program, offering American children born during his presidency $1,000 to invest in a government-backed account that can be accessed when they turn 18. Kids under the age of 10 can also sign up thanks to a $6 billion donation from the Dell family. The program attracting celebrities like rapper Nicki Minaj, who announced today she's donating hundreds of thousands of dollars to the venture, and Shark Tank's Kevin O'Leary. Big companies are also buying in. JPMorgan Chase joined Bank of America, IBM, and a long list of employers committing to matching the government's deposit for their employees.
Fox's Aisha Hosni, a Texas man who once escaped custody and spent three days on the run after being sentenced to death for fatally shooting his ex-girlfriend and her new boyfriend, put to death, becoming the first person executed in the U.S. this year. 55-year-old Charles Victor Thompson pronounced dead following a lethal injection at the state penitentiary in Huntsville. He was condemned for the shooting deaths of his ex-girlfriend, 39-year-old Glenda Denise Hayslip, and her new boyfriend, 30-year-old Darren Keith Kane, at the woman's apartment near Houston. And Homeland Security placing the federal agents involved in the deadly shooting of Alex Preddy on administrative leave. Fox's Jeff Manasso with more.
