Chapter 1: What happened during the U.S. military operations in Iran?
Iran hits back. I'm Chris DiMeo, Fox News. Search and rescue teams looking for a missing U.S. airman shot down over Iran.
The pilot of that F-15E Strike Eagle has been recovered, but there were two personnel on board that aircraft. The other was a weapons systems officer. That is the individual they are looking for. And as U.S. forces are searching for that weapons systems officer, the Iranians say they are searching for him as well.
Now, when search and rescue crews entered Iran to rescue that pilot, they came under enemy fire. Two U.S. helicopters were shot and crew members on board were injured. Those helicopters were able to land safety. Also, the Pentagon confirms that an A-10 Warthog crashed in the area of the Strait of Hormuz after coming under enemy fire. That has one pilot on board. That pilot has been rescued.

involvement in the conflict in the Middle East. After the F-15E shootdown became public, the president's first comment on Truth Social was, keep the oil, anyone? He also posted earlier today, our military, the greatest and most powerful by far anywhere in the world, hasn't even started destroying what's left in Iran. Bridges, next, then electric power plants.
New regime leadership knows what has to be done and has to be done fast. The president confirmed this crash won't change his plans for negotiations with Iran, telling NBC, no, not at all. No, it's war. We're in war. That suggests the timeline for ending Epic Fury, laid out Wednesday night, holds.

Investigators say the infant, Corey Patterson Moore, was struck by a stray bullet while her mother pushed her in a stroller as two suspects on a moped opened fire on a nearby group. Authorities say the child was not the intended target. I'm Chris DiMaio. This is Fox News.
