Chapter 1: What is the main topic discussed in this episode?
They're still searching. I'm Paul Stevens, Fox News. 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie, the mom of Savannah Guthrie, remains missing as investigators are reviewing another ransom-type message.
We understand that note that was sent to KOLD did not come from the same IP address as the original note, but it did come from the same server. KOLD says it appears to be in response to the video Savannah Guthrie and her siblings released pleading with whoever took their mom to let her go or at the very least to talk to Nancy Guthrie.
Chapter 2: What happened in the case of Nancy Guthrie's disappearance?
They also requested that they provide proof of life. According to KOLD, that did not come. Late Friday afternoon, a large number of investigators returned to Nancy's house, and they spent hours here walking the grounds again, searching with flashlights in the terrain. This all came after that second note was received by that TV station.
The Sheriff's Department did not say there was a direct connection between the note and this new search.
