Now, it is not confirmed at this point that the gloves in pictures taken by the New York Post are indeed connected. And of course, they could have been discarded by anybody at any point. But if they were to be connected, it obviously would prove to be a big break.
Guthrie has been missing for 12 days. The board of the 2028 Olympics organizing committee backing its chairman after his name turned up in the Epstein files.
Casey Wasserman has not been accused of any wrongdoing in connection with Epstein, but documents just released by the Justice Department show that he exchanged flirtatious emails with Ghislaine Maxwell. who years later would be accused and later convicted of helping Epstein. She's currently in prison on sex trafficking-related charges.
The board of LA28 says it conducted a review of Wasserman's past interaction with Epstein and Maxwell using an outside law firm and found their relationship did not go beyond what's already been publicly documented. And based on those findings, as well as the strong leadership they say he's shown over the past 10 years, he should continue to lead LA28.
In an unusual rebuke, the House has voted to roll back President Trump's tariffs on Canada. Six Republicans voted along with Democrats. Before the vote, President Trump sent out a warning to GOP lawmakers saying any Republican in the House and Senate who votes against tariffs will seriously suffer the consequences election time.
