Lemon was arrested by federal agents in LA last night after he live streamed anti-ice protesters storming this church and disrupting services in Minnesota. Attorney General Pam Bondi called it a coordinated attack. Lemon's attorney says he was
exercising his First Amendment rights as a journalist. A federal judge dismisses a murder charge against Luigi Mangione, finding it technically flawed, which means prosecutors can't seek the death penalty if he's convicted of killing health care executive Brian Thompson. Double jeopardy is a big thing here, right? Mr. Mangione is being charged in three different cases for one incident. So We're going to continue to fight for that as well.
But the judge also giving a win to prosecutors, allowing key evidence to remain, including a gun found in Mangione's backpack during his arrest. Actress Catherine O'Hara is being remembered as a comedy legend. She died after what's described as a brief illness and a decades-long career on TV and in movies. Fox's Jonathan Hunt.

The new attorneys for an illegal immigrant convicted of murdering Georgia nursing student Laken Riley go back to court arguing he should get a new trial.
The attorneys for Jose Ibarra say his trial attorney did not ask for a competency evaluation ahead of proceedings and that they believe he has a congenital deficiency that makes him incapable of preparing for and participating in his own defense.
After Ibarra was convicted and in response to this motion from his new attorneys, the judge ordered a mental evaluation last summer and said Friday that assessment found Ibarra was competent. and had been at the time of trial a year prior. Ibarra was convicted of murdering 22-year-old Laken Riley while she was jogging on the University of Georgia campus in Athens.
Prosecutors say Ibarra tried to sexually assault Riley before killing her. His DNA was found under her fingernails. Jessica Rosenthal, Fox News.
The Justice Department wraps up its release of Jeffrey Epstein files required by Congress, again defending redactions and denying there's been any effort to protect the president or anyone else other than Epstein victims. President Trump makes his choice to lead the Federal Reserve, but Senate confirmation is in question.
