Chapter 1: What threats did Iran make against the U.S. and its troops?
Iran threatens U.S. troops. I'm Carmen Roberts, Fox News. Iran's Speaker of the Parliament says if the U.S. launches a ground invasion, it will set American troops on fire. Thousands more U.S. troops arrived in the Middle East over the weekend.
Should President Trump need a ground force option in addition to the immediate response force launched from Fort Bragg aboard the 82nd Airborne Division? Marines aboard the USS Tripoli have now arrived in the Arabian Sea with dozens of super stallions and ospreys aboard.
Some of those 2,000 Marines could spin up and launch an operation, perhaps take one of Iran's islands in the Persian Gulf to use as leverage to get the Strait of Hormuz open.
Fox's Lucas Tomlinson at the White House. Meantime, back in the U.S., air travelers face massive lines at Baltimore's Washington International Airport yesterday, but conditions are much better this morning. This flyer was happily surprised.
We got a text that said that we need to be here four hours early. And so we got here four hours early before our flight. And now it looks like we're going to get right through.

Chapter 2: What military options are being considered for the U.S. response to Iran?
So that's great.
BWI says the lines are shorter today because fewer people are flying and it opened an extra security checkpoint. But passengers at other airports are still frustrated as they stand in long lines. Tomorrow, TSA agents should start seeing their first paycheck in six weeks. But Congress is still at loggerheads over funding DHS.
House Democrats say they'll fund DHS with no more money for ICE. There's been no vote on that bill. Democratic Representative Adam Smith said they have agencies such as TSA in mind. Pay them, pay the Coast Guard, pay FEMA. We put it on the table. Why won't Mike Johnson allow a vote? Because tell you something, if he allowed a vote. It would pass.
GOP Senator Tom Cotton said a House bill funding DHS for two months sits before senators, making their goal... A new budget bill that will fund ICE and CBP for probably five or ten years. Both were on Fox News Sunday. Grinnell Scott, Fox News.

Gas prices are holding steady just below $4 a gallon, with drivers paying an average of $3.98. AAA say that's a dollar higher than prices were before the war with Iran started.
And oil analyst Trilby Lundberg with the Lundberg Survey tells us... There is a possibility if oil prices go higher and don't retreat, we could see a further $1 at the pump.

Chapter 3: How are air travel conditions improving in the U.S.?
Prices could go to $5 or $5.25 per gallon.
Rising crude oil costs are keeping pressure on gas and diesel prices. Crude oil in the U.S. closed Friday just shy of $100 a barrel. NASA set to launch four astronauts Wednesday for a fly around the moon as part of Artemis II's mission. Agency Administrator Jared Isaacsman tells Fox News.
How exciting is it that we finally arrived at this point where American astronauts and Canadian astronauts are getting ready to embark on this journey to return astronauts to the surface of the moon?
Malfunction and other delays have caused the launch to be set back for months. And this is the first moon mission in more than 50 years, but a lunar landing is not planned until 2028. FCC is continuing to look into the growing cost of watching live sports as it moves from broadcast channels to streaming services with the request for public comment ending Friday.
Chairman Brendan Carr tells Fox News.
We're at a tipping point where these leagues can push it so far, putting games behind paywalls that they undermine their ability to claim that antitrust exemption.
He says sport leagues could lose their ability to negotiate collectively. And Project Hail Mary stayed aloft in its second weekend strongly with a $54.5 million at the box office. And the sci-fi adventure dipped only 32% after notching the best non-franchise opening weekend since 2023's Oppenheimer. I'm Carmen Roberts.
