A mass shooting at a Mormon church. I'm Carmen Roberts, Fox News. The FBI is responding to that Mormon church, which is in Grand Blanc, Michigan. Fox's Brian Yennis tells us.
We have seen some victims being taken out by stretcher. There has been a full blown response to this church. We don't know. how this fire was started, but sources tell our Fox 2 Detroit that that fire was started by the suspected shooter. This all started shortly after 11 a.m. local time. They had people there worshiping inside. This church is open 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today. When this shooter opened fire sometime after 11 a.m., striking from reportedly six to eight people in that church, their condition unknown.
Well, there's one person dead, nine injured, including some of them that are critical, and the gunman is dead. In North Carolina, three people are dead, eight others injured after a shooter on a boat opened fire at a waterfront bar last night. North Carolina District Attorney John David.
Evil has come ashore in Southport, North Carolina. Ironically enough, at the very place which once served as a backdrop to the movie Safe Haven, And that name is symbolic of the way in which the people in our community view this area.
Well, police say the gunman pulled up on a boat, started shooting, and then sped away up the intercoastal waterway. Coast Guard spotted someone matching that description, and that person was arrested. He has been identified as 39-year-old Nigel Edge. He now faces charges including three counts of first-degree murder. And the ticket quota system for law enforcement in Ohio is ending.
