What happened during the ice incident in Minneapolis?
Another ice incident in Minneapolis. I'm Ted Lindner, Fox News. Fox's Bill Malusian is reporting an ice agent fired shots while trying to make contact with a target on Wednesday night. Allegedly assaulted an ice officer with a shovel or swung a shovel at him.
While the subject and law enforcement were in a struggle on the ground, two subjects came out of a nearby apartment and also attacked the law enforcement officer with a snow shovel and broom handle. As the officer was being ambushed and attacked by the two individuals, the original subject got loose and began striking the officer with a shovel or broomstick. Fearing for his life and safety as he was being ambushed by three individuals, the officer fired defensive shots to defend his life. The initial subject was hit in the leg. All three subjects ran back into the apartment and barricaded themselves inside.
The suspects eventually apprehended. DHS said the agent was attacked and the subject who was shot were hospitalized as protests continue in Minneapolis over the crackdown of illegal immigration and last week's ICE-related shooting. Iran promising retaliation if the U.S. or Israel intervenes as anti-regime protests continue in their country. Fox's Trey Yingst.

Local officials are demanding they be allowed to participate in the investigation of that shooting. Verizon says its service problems have been resolved.
