A plan to end the shutdown. I'm Sue Guzman, Fox News. President Trump calling for a quick end to the partial government shutdown, which is now in its fourth day. Senate's compromise to end the ongoing shutdown survived an important hurdle Monday night, and that sets the stage now for a vote today. Fox's Jared Halpern.
President Trump says we cannot have another long, pointless and destructive shutdown in a social media post urging all Republicans and Democrats to support a government spending plan approved last week by the Senate. The bipartisan agreement would fully fund every federal department except Homeland Security to allow two weeks for negotiations over new restrictions on ICE demanded by Democrats.
Senate leaders signed off on the deal negotiated with the president. A vote in the House is expected tomorrow. Without any support from Democrats, House Speaker Mike Johnson can afford to lose just one Republican vote.
Chapter 2: What new equipment is being introduced for ICE agents in Minnesota?

ICE agents in Minnesota will have some additional new equipment. More from Fox's Brooke Taylor.
DHS Secretary Kristi Noem posted on social media and said that all ICE officers here in Minneapolis are going to be given these body cameras. She says the plan is eventually for ICE officers nationwide to have body cameras when they get enough funding.
Now, all of this comes after yet another weekend of protests, thousands marching the streets here with signs and chanting for ICE to get out of the city. This morning, anti-ice protesters staged outside of Target's headquarters calling on the company to use its influence to force federal agents out of the state.
News of the body cameras comes as Minneapolis has been the site of intense scrutiny over the conduct of immigration enforcement agents. And a federal judge has blocked the Trump administration from ending temporary protections while allowing 350,000 Haitians to live and work in the U.S. while a lawsuit challenging it proceeds.

The family first reported Guthrie missing Sunday morning when she did not show up to church. They didn't find her at the house or in the backyard. Call 911. Investigators from Pima County Sheriff's Office arrived at the house and they went to her home in the foothills of the Catalina Mountains. There are no sidewalks or streets here, very hilly. Her house is about 3,000 square feet.

The U.S. will lower tariffs to 18%. By the way, that's down from 25%. The president writing in Truth Social that India will also reduce its trade barriers to the U.S.
Chapter 6: What impact will the new trade deal with India have?
They'll also stop buying Russian oil, and that means an additional 25% tariff on Delhi will be dropped. In a post on X, the prime minister said President Trump's leadership is vital for global peace, stability, and prosperity. India fully supports his efforts for peace.
