So this means that there's about 61,000 TSA employees who would not be paid during this shutdown.

Thousands of federal immigration officers are rolling out of Minnesota on the announcement that Operation Metro Surge is ending. They left us with deep damage, generational trauma. Governor Tim Walz still calling the immigration action an invasion, though border czar Tom Homan saying the wind down is only possible because of cooperation from Walz and local officials that the state is safer with the arrests of over 4,000 criminal illegal immigrants and the rescue of over 3,000 missing migrant children in Minnesota. Homan also warns that a small ice footprint will remain in the state.

South Carolina State University on lockdown this morning after a shooting. Two people reported dead, another injured. The university confirming the shooting in a statement. The victim's identities have not been released and there was no immediate word of a motive. University says it has asked the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division to investigate along with SC State Department of Public Safety. Classes for today are canceled. Secretary of State Marco Rubio headed to Germany for the Munich Security Council.
