The address sat for 9 p.m. Eastern. The president lashing out at U.S. allies who did not fully support the U.S.-Israel action against Iran and calls to assist in opening the Strait of Hormuz. He said on Truth Social, the hard part's done.
Chapter 2: What did President Trump say about Operation Epic Fury?

Another tanker ship has been hit, this one 17 miles north of Doha in the Persian Gulf. The ship was hit above the waterline with some kind of projectile. No oil spill known, and the crew is okay. Meantime, the Iranian foreign minister, Abbas Araqshi, told Al Jazeera that there indeed has been communications with the United States in the form of messages exchanged with U.S.
Special Envoy Steve Witkoff. However, Araqshi says the messages do not constitute negotiation. And with the president saying the war here will conclude in two to three weeks, Secretary Marco Rubio says one way or another, the end is in sight.
The president has pressed American allies to assist in the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz, arguing Europe relies on the shipping lane more than the U.S. does. And the Army pilots who hovered two helicopters near Kid Rock's Tennessee home during a training run over the weekend, while he clapped and saluted, have now had their suspension lifted.
