Chapter 2: How are federal authorities responding to protests in Minneapolis?
In a special state address this week, Governor Walz telling people to collect evidence against ICE. People are learning about opportunities, not just to resist, but to help people who are in danger. The DOJ is now investigating Walz and Fry for possibly impeding immigration enforcement.
Meanwhile, active duty soldiers are on standby for potential deployment to the city. Members of Congress standing apart in pursuit of governance over Greenland and what it may mean for America's global standing. Here's Fox's Grinnell Scott.
Texas GOP Senator John Cornyn, a Foreign Relations Committee member, said on Fox News Sunday he thinks the president can get Greenland, a Danish territory.
He believes in strategic ambiguity and talks in terms that get people involved. get people's attention. But ultimately, I think there's a deal to be made.
Kentucky Republican Senator Rand Paul said on NBC's Meet the Press, while military action to get Greenland isn't ruled out.
I've heard of no Republican support for that, even though most hawkish members of our caucus have said they won't support that.
