Chapter 1: What recent military actions have occurred between the U.S. and Iran?
No compromise in sight. Angelo Bavaro, Fox News. The U.S. and Israel entering phase two of Operation Epic Fury. Fox's Nate Foy is in Tel Aviv.
President Donald Trump says that Iran is going to be hit very hard as U.S. bombers continue targeting ballistic missile positions specifically for the Iranian regime. However, Iran still does possess a capability targeting central Israel. Israel's air defense has remained strong. Israel launched a new wave of strikes overnight in Iran and Lebanon.
Chapter 2: How is Iran responding to U.S. military pressure?
The U.S. and Israel, again, targeting those ballistic missile positions, launchers, and weapons depots. Israel used 80 fighter jets in its attack on Tehran, and this is after they hit the underground compound formerly used by Iran's slain supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.
And Iran's president pushing back on President Trump's demand for unconditional surrender, calling it a dream Americans should take to their grave. Iran also sending some mixed messages as that country president says it will not fire on neighbors, but then launching strikes against a Dubai airport and a Saudi oil field.
One of Saudi Arabia's oil fields was targeted overnight by over 20 Iranian drones. No confirmation of any impacts as Iranian President Pesachian, while refusing President Trump's call for surrender, seeming to apologize to neighboring countries for Iran's strikes. He claimed Iran wouldn't head out unless attacked by other countries.
And with Saudi Arabia's oil refineries and energy transport impacted, there are some reports that Riyadh is using back channels to seek diplomatic engagement with Iran. But there is no immediate sign that this talk or the Iranian presidential message is having any kind of impact on the battlefield.
Chapter 3: What impact have recent tornadoes had in the Midwest?
