A campaign spokesperson for Swalwell called the allegations a false and outrageous rumor. He said, quote, the rumor is being spread 27 days before an election begins by flailing opponents who have sadly teamed up with MAGA conspiracy theorists. because they know Swalwell is the front runner in this race. He denied these allegations. He said in a statement, these allegations against me are flat out false. They have never happened. I will fight them with everything that I have.
