Racing for a mess, I'm Chris DeMeo, Fox News, the Northeast getting ready to be slammed by heavy rain and gusty winds for this nor'easter weekend.
The Nor'easter is strengthening a few hundred miles south in the Atlantic. Now, the forecast says it will reach land along the New Jersey coast this Sunday, as forty million Americans from Massachusetts to North Carolina could be impacted by damaging winds, flooding from rain, or even major coastal flooding. We are already seeing impacts at airports in New York as they face ground delays. Due to the wind. Power outages are on the rise, but on the low end right now. But the most intense impacts will come Saturday and Sunday.
Foxweather's Brandy Campbell in Boston, New York Governor Kathy Hokel is expecting a mess. Lots of rain, lots of coastal flooding, perhaps even some erosion that can lead to down trees, and that means down power lines. Delays and cancellations also expected at the nation's airports. Eleven people are dead and two dozen injured after a bus flipped over in central Iran. Authorities say driver fatigue and drowsiness caused the crash.

The group is meeting as part of the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement signed last month that treats an attack on one as an attack on all. But it's not just a Houthi attacks called. Causing havoc. They've seized and now control keyport cities in the Red Sea, as well as Parim Island and the Bab El Mendev Strait.

Hurricane Nolo, uh less than two hundred miles to the south of the big island right now. Category two, a hundred and five mile an hour winds expected to be increased to a major hurricane, category three, in the coming day or so.

We're not gonna have a direct landfall per se, but that really doesn't matter as far as the impacts go. Unfortunately, between thirty to forty inches of rain could fall on the big island, depending on what elevation you're at. Remember the big island, almost fourteen thousand feet. All that water's gotta come down somewhere and it will inundate rivers and streams, take apart vegetation, potentially compromise roads and structures.
