Chapter 1: What recent military actions has the U.S. taken in Syria?
U.S. strikes Syria again. I'm Carmen Roberts, Fox News. The U.S. military is carrying out more airstrikes against ISIS in Syria.
Officials say this is payback for the killing of those two Iowa National Guard soldiers and their American interpreter last month in Syria. If you recall, there was a first wave of airstrikes against the Islamic State in Syria on December 19th. It all comes as the United States is working closer with Syria's government to root out and destroy... The remnants of ISIS.
Fox's Lucas Tomlinson traveling with President Trump from West Palm Beach. Protests continue to confront federal officials in Minneapolis days after an ICE agent shot and killed Rene Good.
We are outside the federal building where ICE has its regional office. This has been a focal point of protest for the past few days. But last night, this was the largest that we have seen so far, 100%. Hundreds of people marched downtown, targeting multiple hotels where activists believe that ICE agents are staying. And they tried to make as much noise as they can.
Some smaller groups even tried to break into parts of the hotels. This went on for about four hours until police finally showed up and started detaining people who were throwing snow, ice, and rocks at the officers.
Fox's Gareth Tenney. Meantime, President Trump is threatening to acquire Greenland despite Danish objections.
We are going to do something on Greenland, whether they like it or not, because if we don't do it, Russia or China will take over.
And Greenland's party leaders insist that Greenland's future must be decided by its people, not the U.S. And prosecutors charge a man with murder for last night's shooting in Cedar Bluff, Mississippi, that left six people dead. Clay County Sheriff's Office says the victims, including a seven-year-old boy, were all related to suspect 24-year-old Derrica Moore. America's listening to Fox News.

Chapter 2: What sparked the protests in Minneapolis regarding ICE actions?
continues to work with Delcy Rodriguez, the interim president. Many analysts say it's an attempt to avoid the mistakes made after the fall of Saddam in Iraq when those loyal to Saddam were purged and eventually took up arms against U.S. forces.
Fox's Steve Harrigan reporting from the Colombia-Venezuelan border. As he mulls over his next move in Venezuela, President Trump met with U.S. oil executives.
After meeting with those oil executives for hours at the White House, President Trump spoke about the meeting before departing the White House and coming to his winter White House in Palm Beach.
They're going to be going in with hundreds of billions of dollars in drilling oil and it's good for Venezuela and it's great for the United States.
A lot of money is going to be made. Before the daring raids removed Nicolas Maduro and his wife, Venezuela had exported 80% of its oil to China. At the White House, the CEO of ExxonMobil, the second largest oil company in the world, he said a lot of work needs to be done before that oil starts flowing to the United States and the global market.
Fox's Lucas Tomlinson reporting. An 80-year-old woman sets a record hiking the Appalachian Trail. Betty Kellenberger of Michigan set the benchmark, becoming the oldest woman to complete the treacherous 2,193-mile trail. It runs from northern Georgia to central Maine. I'm Carmen Roberts.
