High-level talks in Switzerland. I'm Kathleen Maloney, Fox News. That's where U.S. and Iranian negotiators are meeting today.
The vice president, along with the special envoy, Steve Witkoff, and the president's son-in-law, Jared Kushner, met with Pakistani Prime Minister Shabazz Sharif. Pakistan has been acting as a mediator between the U.S. and Iran, so as they continue to shepherd the two sides, U.S. and Iranian officials look to find common ground. that ultimately could end hostilities, keep open the Strait of Hormuz, and dismantle the regime's nuclear ambitions. As for his part, the vice president is eager to make headway.
How is Pakistan mediating U.S.-Iran negotiations and what goals are being pursued?

Key rulings are expected this week in the trial of Tyler Robinson. He's the man accused of killing Charlie Kirk.
One of the biggest questions the judge will answer, whether the death penalty should remain an option in this case. Robinson's attorneys want it taken off the table, saying prosecutors violated a gag order when they spoke to reporters about evidence. Now, that request would only be allowed if the judge rules the gag order was actually violated. Prosecutors say they did nothing wrong and simply corrected what they call misinformation about a ballistics test. A defense filing claimed investigators couldn't confirm a match between the bullet that killed Charlie Kirk and the rifle allegedly used by Robinson. Prosecutors say the report was inconclusive, not a clear evidence.
