More protests in Minnesota. I'm Kathleen Maloney, Fox News anti-ice protesters gathering in Minnesota after border czar Tom Holman arrived in the state last week. Fox's Brooke Taylor is in Minneapolis.
There's a small group in south Minneapolis and they're blocking this neighborhood from letting ice in. A small group encouraging people to show up. and literally get in the way of law enforcement operations. They wrote on social media and said bring signs, firewood, and materials to help, quote, hold the intersection and impede ICE operations as much as possible. Meanwhile, President Trump said federal law enforcement is not going to intervene during any of these protests that are happening in these Democratic cities. They will, though, continue to protect federal property.

The partial government shutdown now in its second day with DHS funding taking center stage in the dispute. Democratic leaders say they won't help pass a funding bill.
If House Democrats would vote yes, the government could reopen Monday night. But now it's going to take until at least Tuesday. Republicans may need to pass the bill on their own. Chris Murphy of Connecticut is the top Democrat on the panel, which funds ICE. The bill would only fund DHS for two weeks, and Republicans oppose Democratic demands for ICE agents to remove masks and carry IDs. Now, Johnson believes the House can align with the Senate on Tuesday. That would end the partial shutdown. But some House Republicans could oppose the deal. They believe Democrats are trying to keep ICE from doing its job.
Fox's Chad Pergram, Iran's supreme leader, now warning that any U.S. attack would spark a regional war. It comes as President Trump confirms Iran is negotiating with the U.S., but says he still isn't ruling out any strikes in the region. Fox's Dana Marie McNichol with more.

If you could make a negotiated deal that would be satisfactory with no nuclear weapons, they said they should do that. Trump has made it clear that military planning is happening, confirming last night that ships are heading in that direction. He told Fox News' Jackie Heinrich that the fleet is even bigger than what is currently being stationed in Venezuela.
