U.S. Central Command just announced that another round of U.S. strikes are currently taking place against Iranian targets. Fox's Trey Engst in Washington. These are the first daytime strikes that we've seen since the ceasefire went into effect, an indication that indeed these strikes are escalating. When I spoke with President Trump yesterday at the White House, he told Fox News that a variety of strikes would take place this week and escalate next week. He said he is reserving the energy targets for later in this campaign, trying to put new pressure on the Iranian regime.
We're going to knock out all their power plants. We're going to knock out all their bridges unless they get to the table and negotiate.
This after the president reimposed a naval blockade around Iran's ports. Iran has also launched drone and missile attacks targeting Gulf countries with American military bases. Bahrain, Jordan and Kuwait.

Iran says the resurgence in fighting has cost 30 lives there and wounded more than 260. The blockade is an attempt to weaken Iran economically, but President Trump has gone back on a threat to impose a 20% fee on all shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. Fox's Jonathan Savage.
