Chapter 1: What is the ongoing search for Nancy Guthrie about?
The search is in its fifth day. I'm Lisa LaSera, Fox News. Authorities in Tucson, Arizona say they believe Nancy Guthrie, the 84-year-old mother of Today Show host Savannah Guthrie, is still out there. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos says the family is heartbroken.

There was an arrest in Los Angeles of a man authorities say was sending texts to Annie Guthrie and her husband asking for ransom. The FBI says there's no evidence connecting Derek Colella to the kidnapping.
Chapter 2: What updates have authorities provided on the Nancy Guthrie case?
The FBI has partnered with the Pima County Sheriff on the case.
The local sheriff's office is still technically the lead on the case, but the bureau is helping. FBI Director Kash Patel and Attorney General Pam Bondi are getting regular updates. The bureau offering a $50,000 reward for information leading to the safe return of Nancy Guthrie. That money is also available for the arrest of the person who took Nancy Guthrie from her home.
The FBI is also surging resources.
Fox's David Spunt in Washington. The White House says President Trump has spoken with Savannah Guthrie and is standing by to grant any requests from local law enforcement connected to the case. Talk set for tomorrow between Iran and the U.S. over Tehran's nuclear program.
They were moved to Oman. According to a senior administration official, the White House agreed to the venue change after appeals by Middle Eastern allies not to walk away. President Trump, though, told NBC News last night that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei should be very worried about what happens if he can't come to an agreement. He's beefed up the U.S.
military presence in the region and threatened Iran with strikes.
