Democratic leader Chuck Schumer says the fight to reform DHS is not over.

A federal grand jury in Minnesota indicted Lemon and the others on charges of conspiracy and interfering with the First Amendment rights of worshipers during the protest at the city's church where an ICE official is a pastor. Another round of winter weather set to impact the East Coast, with the Carolinas and Virginia expected to feel the biggest impact. That could affect travel in the region.
It's set to bring heavy snowfall, intense winds, and frigid temperatures. Airports in Atlanta, Charlotte, and Raleigh seeing the most travel disruptions. Last weekend's storm left countless travelers stranded at airports all across the country.

The attorneys for Jose Ibarra say his trial attorney did not ask for a competency evaluation ahead of proceedings and that they believe he has a congenital deficiency that makes him incapable of preparing for and participating in his own defense. After Ibarra was convicted and in response to this motion from his new attorneys, the judge ordered a mental evaluation last summer.
