What impact is the snowstorm having on the Carolinas?
A snowstorm battering parts of the country. I'm Angelo Bavaro, Fox News. That nor'easter is sending snow into the Carolinas and the surrounding region. Fox Weather's Brandi Campbell is in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Here in Myrtle Beach, we are expecting five to eight inches of snow. That is significant for this town where the yearly snow average is just under half an inch. Meanwhile, parts of Tennessee and North Carolina have already seen 9 to 10 inches of snow.
And in South Carolina, the Department of Transportation, they've said their crews are already working and that the road conditions are deteriorating across the state, especially on the western side. Now, I have spoken to the mayor of Myrtle Beach, Mark Krua, and he told me residents have already prepared.
People look forward to the snow. It's a fun sort of weather emergency compared to the hurricanes that we normally deal with.
We're going to be under a winter storm warning through Sunday evening.
And according to FlightAware, there are more than 12,000 total flight disruptions so far through Monday. President Trump is weighing military action against Iran. He's telling Tehran to drop its nuclear ambitions as protests against that regime continue. Fox's Lucas Tomlinson reports American forces are moving into that region.
The Abraham Lincoln carrier strike group is on station in the Arabian Sea and within striking distance of Iran. In addition to her squadrons of F-18 Superhorns, the carrier also has F-35 stealth fighter jets. That's the Charlie version that the Navy flies. There are also electronic warfare jets, the Growlers, that can jam and destroy Iranian radar and surface-to-air missile sites.

Saudi Arabia and the UAE have signaled they want no part in any strikes against Iran. America is listening to Fox.
