Chapter 1: What impact does the blizzard have on the Northeast?

2.933 - 13.587 Dave Anthony

It's shutting things down, knocking out power in grounding flights. I'm Dave Anthony, Fox News. A blizzard hitting the Northeast. Fox Weather's Bob Van Dillon out in the storm in New Jersey.

A nor'easter's a weird one. When you get the bands that shape up right over the head, you can get two to four inches of snow per hour. That's what we've been in now for the last hour and a half in Neptune, New Jersey. Now about 10 miles over to my east in a freehold, 22 and a half inches of snow already. But that measurement was taken a couple of hours ago, so I'm sure they've got more.

There have been wind gusts in this blizzard at Hurricane Force over 70 miles an hour.

Chapter 2: How severe are the power outages caused by the blizzard?

37.119 - 50.862 Dave Anthony

There are near more than 600,000 power outages, Virginia up to New England. And while driving is treacherous, this blizzard is also grounding a lot of planes in the northeast and ones that were supposed to fly there. Fox Business Network's Connor Hanson is at Reagan National Airport.

Hundreds of flights have been canceled just today here in Washington, D.C., although we are seeing some still take off. It's a lot worse situation in New York and Boston. But overall, nearly 20,000 flights have been impacted by this blizzard, and that is through tomorrow.

66.916 - 84.165 Dave Anthony

He mentioned Boston. Massport says they don't expect any flights to take off today from there. President Trump has a lot to say about tariffs this morning on True Social. Warning, any country that wants to play games with what he calls the ridiculous Supreme Court decision Friday that struck down most of his tariffs, beware. They'll be met with a much higher tariff and worse.

Over the weekend, he set a new global tariff on imports at 15%, and he has posted more. Fox's Jared Halpern is at the White House.

Describing the Supreme Court is incompetent. President Trump predicts justices could rule against the administration in an upcoming case about birthright citizenship. The president signed an executive order intended to deny citizenship to children born in the U.S. to parents in the country illegally. Several courts have so far blocked enforcement. The Supreme Court will hear arguments April 1st.

Despite this blizzard that is still raging here in New York City, I can still see the snow sideways out the window. It's shut a lot of things down, but Wall Street is not among them. It's open for business at the stock market, and the week has started with selling. The Dow is down 395 points, the Nasdaq dropping 105, the S&P 500 losing 27 points.

Chapter 3: What are the effects of the blizzard on air travel?

170.095 - 178.704 Dave Anthony

That's an analyst, Trilby Lundberg, survey of gas stations nationwide. AAA's national average for regular is less by nine cents, $2.93 a gallon.

178.724 - 204.622 Will Harris

At the movies... The animated hit, Goat, proves it's the greatest, at least for the weekend. I'm Will Harris. Hey, I'm driving here. All my life, I've always wanted to play professional war ball. Like my hero, Jet Fillmore. The story of an ambitious animal chasing athletic glory pulled in $17 million. The brooding Wuthering Heights dropped to second place with about $14 million.

And despite glowing reviews, the faith-based sequel, I Can Only Imagine 2, landed just $8 million, putting it in third place. Carmen Roberts, Fox News.

The Winter Olympics are over in Italy, and the U.S. finished second to Norway in the medals, but the Americans won the last one. Gold on ice in the men's hockey game, beating Canada 2-1 in overtime. Jack Hughes scored the golden game-winning goal.

Kind of like a little grudge match, like who's going to make the first mistake, who's going to give up the first odd man rush, and just a good play by Larks and Zee getting up the ice, and then obviously Zee found me.

242.879 - 253.108 Dave Anthony

This was the first U.S. men's hockey gold medal since 1980 with a miracle on ice upset over the Soviet Union followed by a win over Finland. I'm Dave Anthony.
