Tonight he'll go to Davos, Switzerland for the World Economic Forum discussing his push for a U.S. takeover of Greenland. Treasury Secretary Scott Besson already in Davos tells Fox Business.
Greenland's becoming more and more attractive for foreign conquest and he very strongly believes that it must be part of the United States to prevent a conflict.
Chapter 2: How are trade tensions affecting the U.S. economy?
The president has threatened European countries with additional tariffs if they refuse to support him on acquiring Greenland. Denmark's government has said it's willing to work with the U.S. on reinforcing Greenland security. The Europeans have said a fight to take territory from an allied nation could put the entire NATO alliance at risk.
Fox's Rich Edson at the White House. House Speaker Mike Johnson's in London and was the first American speaker to ever address Parliament, calling Britain a strong ally we need.
I told the President that I felt that my mission here today was to encourage our friends and help to calm the waters, so to speak, and I hope to do so.
Also in Davos, Thursday, the President plans to formalize what he calls a Board of Peace.
And will mark the transition into phase two of the Gaza ceasefire deal. Around 60 invitations were sent out, mostly to leaders of foreign countries.

Again on Wall Street, a big sell-off. The Dow now down on 718 points. The Nasdaq's plunging 403. The S&P 500's dropping 100 points. But silver and gold are surging to record highs. Gold's up 3%, over $4,700 per ounce. Silver surging to 95 bucks an ounce. Oil's up almost a dollar, back over 60 bucks a barrel, but there is no change at the gas pump.
AAA's national average for regular is still $2.82 a gallon. That is 30 cents less than a year ago. Now an update on a massive Netflix deal.
Warner Brothers Discovery. has approved a new bid from Netflix that is all cash. It previously was offering cash and Netflix common stock. The bid is for studios and HBO Max streaming service. The value of the Netflix offer remains at $72 billion. The companies hope to vote on the deal by April, though Paramount continues to push its own all cash offer.
