And with the Bears, he had Mitchell Trubisky, who he didn't inherit, but he took that job with him as already the quarterback.
Um, and they drafted Justin Fields in his final year, which felt like a desperation move from the bears. And he really didn't even want to play him that season, but, uh, Andy Dalton got injured and there was pressure to put them in. So they put them in. So basically two bad quarterbacks, and then he wasn't the play caller with the Chiefs.
So there is a little bit of an I don't know factor with him, and we'll try and give you as much information as possible on him. There is schematic things that he likes. But Harbaugh, it felt like he was looking for was experience. You know, that's something he's always pulled for. And, you know, even head coach experience. Right.
Five of the seven offensive coordinators she's hired were head coaches in the NFL. The only ones that weren't were Greg Roman, which had a very clear, you know, reasoning why they brought him in to be their offensive coordinator. Todd Munkin was the other and he was a head coach at Southern Miss in college.
um so you had that so then when you know Todd Munkin gets the Browns job Charlie Weiss decides to stay at LSU which is you know there's reports that they went pretty heavily after him Davis Webb stays in Denver well you're left with you know the other guys that we reported interviews were Jim Bob Cooter who does have experience and then Alex Tanney and Shane Day who had never been offensive coordinators in the NFL yeah um
We kind of spoke about this already when we were in Mobile, but this hire and this whole process does feel a little bit like they were caught off guard by Todd Munkin taking the Cleveland Browns job, which... it's a little unnerving that they were caught off guard and a little unprepared for that. Of course, it's just what we think.
But it certainly looks like all the evidence points to them not really being prepared and then cramming in a bunch of interviews and throwing out names. And, you know, I don't know now because I didn't even realize that they had like a formal interview with Matt Nagy before hiring him. So, you know, maybe what's going on behind the scenes is not being reported fully.
Maybe you guys don't know, but I like that. Yeah.
I mean, Hey, that's, that's a, we're in the information business. So I like, I personally like it getting information, but I also like the idea of like, man, you guys didn't even know they interviewed this guy. How about that?
