Okay, we're back. I'm using the audio from the computer, something with the mic. I knew beforehand that that was a potential problem. Bobby's going to kill me now. The audio might not be as good for this episode because I'm not using the mic. I'm going straight through the computer. I understand that. But I think we're going to have to live with that for now just because I don't know. I couldn't figure out the mic. I'm a boomer. I got it. Breaking Big Blue. Welcome, everyone. Giant Time, Giant Station Show. Bobby will be here in a bit. Okay, I'm at home, as you can see. My studio hasn't changed. Bobby is in Mobile. I bagged the trip because John Harbaugh and Joe Shane weren't going. The weather was ridiculous over the weekend.
Breaking Big Boomer is actually an excellent name for the show. Without Bobby, I think you're right. But we'll get... We'll get that fixed moving forward. So anyway, a lot going on. Todd Munkin, he goes elsewhere. We'll get to Bobby in a little bit. They're going to join us at about 145-ish. So Bobby and Grump live from Mobile, Alabama. We'll get into that. Then we'll actually do a Bobby on the beat, okay? Because Bobby's the one on the road, so we'll just get some stories from him about what's going on down in Mobile. But in the meantime, Giants, big thing that happened this week, the pieces starting to drop is that Todd Munkin ends up as the head coach of the Cleveland Browns. So that now leaves the Giants.
He was going to be their offensive coordinator as long as he didn't get that job. And now the Giants have to recalibrate, reset up. And so here we go. Now they have to go and go through an offensive coordinator search. Now they've already done some other interviews. Remember Robert Prince, wide receiver coach, formerly of the Lions. He actually took a job recently when, I forget where, maybe Washington as a wide receiver coach. But there shouldn't be any restrictions here. The Giants had it set up so they could make that Munkin hire the second that it was possible. So it didn't happen. I see Grump, and I see Bobby in the background there. So they're getting set up in Mobile. But now they've got to look for an offensive coordinator.
And where do you start? One of the names that I've heard is likely to be interested is Cliff of interest, I should say. And, yes, reciprocated as well. Cliff Kingsbury. Last two years in Washington, something happened this past year there with him and Dan Quinn. He ended up getting pushed out the door, fired, whatever they want to call it. But Cliff Kingsbury, previously the coach of the Arizona Cardinals, also Texas Tech before that, where he was the coach and he coached a player named Patrick Mahomes, but also Davis Webb, a player he coached there. By the way, at one point, I think they crossed over for a few months. Patrick Mahomes, Davis Webb, Baker Mayfield at Texas Tech, Cliff Kingsbury. That's an interesting one.
I think it would actually be pretty good. We'll get Bobby and Grump's football perspective opinion on that, but I heard that that's definitely possible. Charlie Weiss Jr., that is one that Jackson Dart has put a good word in for, from what I understand. Obviously, he was at Ole Miss, worked with Jackson Dart. They have a close relationship. It would make some sense. The question is, does his offense, does he know NFL offenses and concepts, and can he adjust what he does there? to the NFL game. Also his father, Charlie Weiss Sr., obviously worked for the Giants under Parcells and Ray Hanley, 99 to 92, I believe. And so if there was one team, I think, that Charlie Weiss Jr., who's by the way now at LSU, he's the offensive coordinator at LSU, he went over with Lane Kiffin.
If there was one job that he would take, In the NFL, I believe, or at least seriously consider, I believe it would be the New York Giants. And that's why we are sitting here right now, and his name is out there. Put that with the connection with Jackson Dart, and here we are. And look, remember, if you think back to the beginning of January, this is something that I heard.
