What is the main topic discussed in this episode?

Lucy Jackson 0:02
A listener production. This is Happy Hour with Lucy and Nikki. And if you're easily offended, then this might not be for you. And, like, sometimes I look back to her and I was like, and honestly, girlfriend, get a different hairstyle. Yeah.
Nikki Westcott 0:24
I don't know. Who cares, though?
Lucy Jackson 0:26
The do's were not doing. Your do was always doing. My do was not doing.
Wasn't it? You've got do insecurity. Your do is actually pretty fine and you're always worried about your do. My last time when we did all those pics, you were just like wigging out on your do and I was like, you just got your do did.
Lucy Jackson 0:45
I actually have like, I'm so niche about my do.
Cheers, babes. Welcome to Happy Hour with Lucy and Nikki, the real life shit you only discuss over a drink. But before we start, a little disclaimer.

Do dysmorphia.

Do dysmorphia.
If you want to know what do dysmorphia is, wait to the end of this episode. Stick around, but let's get into it. Okay, Travel Tales part two. The train, the Segway, and the private yacht. So I was travelling with my bestie around Europe. It was a travel day, so we set off to the train station for what we thought was an overnight train. We even paid extra for beds, dinner and breakfast. We get on our nice train and 20 minutes in, it stops and says that there has been an issue and we need to get on another transfer train. So we get on and it was really gross. We already tried to figure out how we're going to sleep upright with six other people in our carriage for 18 hours. Oh, God. Except then we stop again four hours in, literally in the middle of nowhere.
It's 2am, we're starving and we've basically been abandoned and they couldn't speak English so they couldn't tell us why we had to get off. We just laughed it off and decided, oh well, let's just wait for the next train to pass. The most important thing to find was food. We thought we saw a vending machine in the distance. So my friend runs over there. She comes back with nothing and just starts yelling, it's all raw meat.
Lucy Jackson 2:35
In a vending machine? What? Fucking that is niche, my guy. Where are they in Europe?
We wait another two hours for a train that goes to our destination. We get on and this man is going to deny us. But we were like, please. We got kicked off our train and we don't know what happened. And we have to get to Croatia by midday for a private sale.

What travel tales are shared in this episode?

Oh, this is bloody hidden home, isn't it, Dolph? Been there. He finds us two spots in a six-person carriage. We get in with four very drunk and cracked out gross men in there. I was so tired. I just didn't care anymore. Headphones were on. I was trying to sleep and I was hoping that I woke up alive, I guess. We finally get to Croatia and we have 20 minutes to get to where we're meant to meet the sale. We freshen up in the public toilets because you got to do what you got to do. We grab a beer and we wait. 30 minutes pass and we realize it's very late. We call the sale and they say that they have no bookings for today and hang up. Do not book through a third party. We start panicking all over again, after finishing our beer, of course.
It's Ultra Music Festival that weekend, so there's absolutely no accommodation anywhere. I call Sal Croatia directly and this lovely man says that he'll call me back and see if he can find us a spot. He calls back and says two people actually cancelled and there are two spots and tells us where to meet, but they leave in 20 minutes. At this point, we were 35 minutes away. We jump in an Uber and we tell the driver, go as fast as you can. Wrong decision though, because we thought we were genuinely going to die.
