Uh that signals to me what The way I mean it it signals to me that he's thinking about the Epstein scandal in the way that it's classically been thought about, which is this is a sex ring, it involves uh scandalous uh sexual details, um, and it includes abuse of minors, which of course is the s the most serious component of that understanding of the Epstein files. But uh what we did in our reporting at Dropside is we looked a little beyond the sex. Ring. What was the sex ring being used for? There were geopolitical interests involved. And we went through not only the emails that were obtained by the House Oversight Committee to start off, then were released after the Epstein Files Transparency Act.
But also through leaked documents and emails from hacker groups, we got access to Ehud Barak's inbox, the fine former Prime Minister of Israel, close friend. Of Jeffrey Epstein and learned a whole bunch more. And so once you start to dig into that stuff, you wonder, hey, how many how many of these people know about the intelligence ties or know that he was working closely with certain governments that may be donating them a lot of money? Um, and how many of them are actually ignorant to what's going on and just, you know, throwing an off handed comment before walking away.
It it's really the most important question is why would a guy, Jeffrey Epstein, who was really wealthy and none of us really know exactly why or how he was so wealthy, but he was. And he has a private island. Why would you provide underage girls for people, powerful people in your homes, wherein we know from images that there were video cameras everywhere? And so I think it's very easy to deduce that he was blackmailed. killing people or keeping people in, you know, positions to where he could keep their, you know, get them to do what he wanted them to do or what other governments wanted them to do. But speak a little bit about the former Israeli prime minister, because I think that's kind of a bombshell, Ud Barak.
Yeah, well, uh really quickly to to your point about blackmail, I mean, I think you'd have to do more j mental gymnastics at this point to get to the conclusion that he wasn't blackmailing people than to get to the conclusion that he was. I mean, in our reporting we found that uh an Israeli spy who was an aide to uh a top aide to Ahud Barak, his name was Yoni Korin, uh was staying for several periods of multiple weeks on end over the course of months at Jeffrey Epstein's second Apartment in New York City. This is a top Israeli spy. Uh we also found that the Israeli government installed security systems and maintained those security systems in that second apartment apartment uh that Jeffrey Epstein owned in New York City.
