Shane Brennan is a fantastic young sports journalist who works with the Irish Independent. Despite being born in New York City he became a fan of the New England Patriots. After studying journalism at Dublin City University and undertaking a work placement with Matt Cooper at the Last Word on Today FM, he went on to get a job working with the Indo. Shane has recently brought the local game to a national audience, covering the American Football Ireland weekend fixtures in this past Monday's edition of the newspaper.
