in the game against the Jets last night, the 6-2 loss. So he has been placed on IR. He will miss the next mandatory at least four games. He's going to miss the trip to Buffalo, Toronto, Montreal, and the home game next Wednesday against Detroit. Jewel Erickson Eck, who was skating as recently as a couple days ago, and there was indications he was going to go on the trip, and then there were indications he wouldn't, has now been placed on IR. He doesn't have to miss more games, but this is very bad news because we have no idea when he's back, which is what AJ was saying last week, which is don't trust anybody. This is coupled with Jonas Brodine being on IR. Zach Bogosian being on IR. Hunter Haidt has been recalled.
Nicholas Obey-Kubel has been recalled. David Juracek has been recalled. So, Jesse, we'll start with you on the Boldy thing. because you were doing some digging. Do we have any idea how Matt Boldy suffered a lower body injury, which is serious enough now that he couldn't even travel, but we don't know.
Now, for the record, all three of us were there being forced to watch whatever that game was last night, right? Like, we were all paying attention. Matt Boldy played 19 minutes. There were no shifts missed, nothing that looked egregious on the ice. So it's not surprising. There was obviously no questions asked about Matt Boldy postgame either because nothing indicated any sort of injury, let alone an injury that was going to place him on IR. So I went back and looked at the play-by-play, which is available on NHL.com, along with my summary of last night's game. Went through period by period.
