So as you guys know, I got tested and was positive for celiac disease. My number was eleven times higher than the normal number. And the doctor at my follow-up told me that my number was so high. Well, I don't know if it was the doctor or the nurse. Either way. I was told via video chat on my follow-up that I needed to go gluten-free because my number was so high that it would still be high when I get my endoscopy, colonoscopy, and biopsies. I got a text on Tuesday and it says Tuesday. Okay. On Tuesday. Hello, Caitlin. This is Blank again. Dr. Blank just wanted to make sure that you are still eating gluten until you have your EGD, which I don't know what the fuck that is, and colonoscopy. This will ensure that the biopsy results for the celiac testing for the EGD will be accurate.
