Today, in the nerdy news you need to know about, a new trademark for control has been found. Capcom is reportedly making a new Dead Rising, a game we know that's making an appearance at the Game Awards. And shout out to kind of funny best friend, IC Wiener, who two months ago told us he had an avocado-sized brain tumor that requires surgery and had a 40% chance of paralyzing him on his left side.

And I posted on Instagram stories. I'm like, all right, I'm going to try this rice. And then I posted another story saying Nigerian jollof is better. Yeah. Let me tell you. Ghanian Jollof Rice?

Chapter 4: What are the gameplay changes in Fortnite Chapter 7?
I was there for the full day after because we were there for Thursday, Thanksgiving, and then Friday I didn't leave until the very end of the day. And, like, when I tell you I had that same meal three days in a row on Friday, just macaroni and cheese and Ghanian Jollof Rice. And it was really good. I'm never going to say it's as good as Nigerian jollof rice.
But that's more so pride, if anything, if I'm being real. It was really good. So shout out. That was good. Okay, good. I'm glad that worked out for you.

Did you have a nice break? I did have a nice break. I feel like I did so much. I went to Seattle, hung out with the family. I did a Friendsgiving as well, which was really fun to do on Saturday. I beat Kirby Air Riders, which isn't like a big feat. It's a short, if you're doing the city tour, not city tour, the road tour, road trip, road trip.
If you're doing the road trip mode, it's like a few hours, but it was nice to play that. That was my travel game. And then last night, I started up two different games.

I made a list. I made a list of my road to the game of the year. My December 2025 background. Required homework here. What do we got to knock off? What do we got to get done? So the two things that I started last night were Citizen Sleeper 2. Yeah. Because at the Friendsgiving, Barrett came to me and he was like, yo, you got to play Citizen Sleeper 2.
Because I promised Andy I would play it in December, but then I didn't have a lot going on Thanksgiving break.
Chapter 7: How does the Analog 3D enhance retro gaming experiences?
So Citizen Sleeper 2, great game. Yeah, and played through it in two days. Fell in love with it. Had to tell Blessing about it. How long did it take you? It was like maybe 12 hours, if that. Way shorter than I was expecting it. Interesting. I remember back at launch when Andy was reviewing it, I did like, what, five hours, four hours, something like that. I liked it a lot. Go back to it.
The way it ends, I was like, God damn, this might be one of my favorite written games this year. And then I started up Silent Hill F last night. After I saw all the Game Awards nominations, I was like, okay, this seems like one that I should check out. I also, over the weekend, got to play around with my Analog 3D.

Oh, I saw that. I saw that. Very cool. If you followed along, Tim's had his, like, analog pocket for years, which has been his, like, Game Boy machine that he got from Analog, the company that makes all of these cool retro hardwares. They just put out Analog 3D, which is their N64 that you can play on 4K TVs. Yeah.
And it was really cool getting it and being like, all right, I prepared for this because this shit got delayed a hell of times this year. And so earlier in the year, I stopped by Pink Gorilla, one of the few times I was in Seattle. Yeah. And I bought a couple of cartridges for N64 games that I owned as a kid, Wade Gretzky's 3D Hockey and 007 The World Is Not Enough, not GoldenEye.
And set it up over the weekend, started messing around with those. And then I went and dug into like a tub that I have in my closet of like just a bunch of old shit. And I found my original DK64 cartridge from when I was a kid. Yeah. And I tried using that here and there throughout time, and it just stopped working.
And so I just assumed that it was broken, but I just kept the cartridge just because. Of course, yeah. And yesterday I was like, you know what? Let me try. I got a cartridge cleaner that came with the device. So let me clean out this thing.
do it put it in and it worked yeah and like i saw my save 91 hours playing dk64 i saw you put this up on instagram yeah and legitimately like a lot just all the emotions flooded in of like man that's crazy i was playing this when i was seven eight years old hooked on this thing and now like it's back running so mess around with the save a little bit played jetpack which was the thing that kept me from actually beating the game as a kid it was a really fun time
So talk to me about this. You've bought this analog now for N64. When you say, I'm going to do this, I'm going to get it, I'm going to spend the money on it. What's your use case? Is this you just wanted to be able to tinker with this stuff for a night and it's cool to have? Or do you expect like...
I am going to go back and play X, Y, and Z. It's definitely... I'm going to tinker for a night and then it's cool to have. But I'm also... I'm such a N64 fan because that was my first console. I grew up with it. And so I have, like, such intense nostalgia for that console that... even on my Switch online or allegedly on the Steam Deck, I'm just randomly booting up N64 games all the time.
And there's plenty of stuff there that's great for just multiplayer. The Amalog 3D comes with the ports, and so if I have actual N64 controllers, I can just plug those in. And so if people are over, it's like, okay, we can play Smash, we can play original Mario Party, stuff like that. But then also there's plenty of- Wave Race. Wave Race.
There's plenty of original... Or there's plenty of N64 games that have just, like, fun arcade-y type stuff where I can hop in. Like, I can play Mario Tennis for, like, 30 minutes and have fun. Or I can play... N64 games are also very short. So I can, like, beat Diddy Kong Racing in an afternoon if I wanted to. And so it's definitely that. I want to start...
