I'm good. How are you? I'm wonderful. Had a great weekend playing a lot of video games. What did you play? Zelda, Twilight Princess. All done.

How about yourself? How was your weekend? It was fantastic.
I had a great one. Little Father's Day weekend. Not too shabby. Aunt and uncle in town from Wednesday to Saturday was our final day with them. Love that. So we got to show them all the stops. You know, we went out, took Benny to... jujitsu i always want to say taekwondo but i know nick gets really mad audience gets really mad when i call it jujitsu taekwondo you know what i mean like i just see him and his gi rolling around mountain people closed guard he knows what's up he's all about it um and then yeah went out for a lovely little lunch the farmer's market etc then of course yesterday father's day Where Jen gave me the gift every father wants. Got this kid out of the fucking house, left me alone.
I had the energy then to play video games for a couple hours at Top Greg. You know what I mean? Not it's 930. I got to fight to stay awake, Greg. Got to play some video games. Then we went out for a nice little picnic. Went to the skate park, of course, as you do on Father's Day. Then we came home. played some video games, watched Superman, had homemade pizza, then Ben melted down because he was way too tired, but we put him to bed. Then Jen said, it's Father's Day. I'm going to give you the gift I know you want. I said, what's that, babe? She said, you can go downstairs and play video games uninterrupted. I said, thank you.
Sounds like a radical day. It was a radical day. Radical day.
Of course, I was then met with the reality of being dad, which I love. Everyone knows there's no shade being thrown here. But I'm playing, as you know, Vampire, the Masquerade, Bloodlines 2. Okay. 30 hours into this Vampire RPG. Yesterday, I get to the end. I have two chapters left. Here we go. The real villain shows itself. This is what's happening. They're burning somebody alive in the sun. I'm like, we are heating up. This is the finale. And then I get the text from Jen. Ben's calling you. And I got up there. Ben's nightlight had burned out. It's light earlier in the evening. He woke up, no lights on. It was a big thing. I had to go get up there. Dad. I was just, I was there. I was, you know, laid out right next to him.
Just sitting there. Okay. The rest of the way fell asleep there as you do. And then today at my desk, I'll finish vampire. And I'm very excited about that.
Sounds like a successful Father's Day.
