In my experience with this game so far, it is not. I do think it is a step down. I can excuse that to an extent, though. I feel like the... Amounts that was put into shredders revenge. I think is just different.
I think the budget levels are playing up, but there's love and care put in this They are very different games This in terms of gameplay I was very impressed with shredders avenge of like how deep it felt compared to the old-school games This feels on par with the old-school games It is a lot of hitting the same buttons over and over some of the Zord controls as you're like doing the the more like motorcycle chase stuff didn't feel great to play and
It wasn't bad, but it just didn't feel like it was like, oh, I'm fully in control of this character and having a good time. It reminded me a lot of old arcade games, right? Where you're playing and it's fun because you're playing a video game, but it's not necessarily the best thing. And then the Punch-Out Megazord stuff, really hard for me to wrap my head around.
We were really getting our ass kicked. That took us a lot longer to beat than I think was planned, but it was still very cool. So I definitely am not writing this off. I can't wait to play through this game. I just want to set expectations that I don't think this is the level of Shredder's Revenge. I also don't think it needs to be.
