Chapter 1: What spoilers can we expect this week on Married At First Sight?
hello and welcome back to the maths funny podcast and welcome to your weekly spoiler episode with everything that will be coming up this week and what you will and won't be watching on tv and as always it's going to get messy especially for a beck as usual, and especially for Gia, as usual. And there will be an unexpected cheating scandal popping up this week.
And I'll make this episode short and just get to it, yeah? Apologies the weekly spoiler episode is a little later than usual. I'm going to be honest with you.
i've been quite exhausted lately and mentally drained so i took a couple of days off i did not open my laptop once i escaped sydney for the country and as you may be here for my voice and enthusiasm again i'm back nah i feel good sometimes it's good to switch off isn't it but less of me more of the drama so let's just get straight to it yeah
This week, we'll see the return of temptation week or grass isn't always greener week or whatever the experts want to call it, where basically everyone gets to meet their alternative match who the experts almost paired them with at the start of the season, but they chose the person we've watched them marry instead.
They do this to see, basically, first, if they want to meet their actual matches, and then secondly, if they prefer them. And actually, whereas last year, when this, I'm going to be honest, this fucked up, this is a fucked up challenge. It's not even a challenge. It's just, this is essentially the show, the experts and the producers going, look, we've got them to the end.
What can we do to just try, fuck them up? before final vows, because there's no other way to justify this other than just attempting to break these people up at the last hurdle. But yeah, as I'm saying, when they first introduced this last year, every cast member you may recall was given like the choice, would they like to meet their alternative match?
Whereas this year, they weren't awarded such luxury and they were basically tricked into going and meeting them. And the boys thought they were off to have like a boys night and drinks. And the girls thought they were having a girls night. And then once they arrived at their boys and girls venues, in came their matches. And I'm told many things went down after this bombshell was revealed.
Firstly, the girls got fully into it. Like they were giggling. They were excited. Alyssa's getting flirty with her guy. Beck, after a couple of wines, of course, is making comments about this guy and asking like, would he shag her more than once a week? Because that's all Danny's been doing apparently. And Gia...
apparently hits it off so much with her guy she's not just fully flirting with him and making it clear she's over Scott but she's swapping numbers and details or whatever and planning to keep talking and meet up and then Gia also apparently takes the details of Beck's guy too even though Beck had a flirt and whatever she didn't want his details because she was still invested in Danny and

Chapter 2: What is the significance of the 'temptation week' challenge?
So we're deciding to like, oh, I can't even think of like me trying to pretend to be John Lennon. I can't even think of a logical way for him to justify this. But he will and we'll watch it tomorrow and some people will go, oh yeah, that makes sense because they're not thinking. Actually, no, apply it to the real world and this is fucked up.
Anyway, so I'm swearing quite a bit on this podcast with the F word. Sorry, mum, if you're listening. But yeah, if that wasn't all effed up enough, the next day, each cast member is then taken aside and given an iPad or a laptop or something and shown footage of their partner
with their alternative match like whether they're flirting or changing numbers or saying no I don't want to speak to you in the boys cases and obviously the blokes are not happy seeing their wives getting so wild which obviously leads to drama and I believe that Gia is going to be the one that comes out of this looking the worst which would make sense and explain why Gia has lately been leaking a load of stories to the media that makes Scott look like the bad guy
And that started about a week or so ago. Now, do you remember when Gia briefly quit the show when she didn't want to do the feedback thing? And then it showed her packing a bag and then Scott left there, even though they came back the next day. So it was all so pointless. It turns out when that actually happened, Scott wasn't quite as quick to pack his bags and quit by her side.
And they actually debated this a little bit over text messages. And then magically a week or so ago, new idea. published screenshots of those text messages. Like, where could they have come from? Especially when they were screenshot from Gia's side of the text message. Imagine that. And the headline for that article was exclusive.
Gia reveals she had to beg Scott to leave Smaps with her with a quote. You never cared about me. And there was two screenshots in there and I'm going to read them. So screenshot one starts with Scott going, babe, please come back out. I don't want it like this, please. Scotland goes, I want us to get through this together, please. G, I'm coming to see you.
Gia then sends this lengthy response to Scott. And again, this is after Gia had said she wants to leave and Scott's kind of questioning that. She goes, the fact that you can see me, something's beeped out in the bathroom this morning because of the anxiety of being here and still imply you're not sure if you're going to leave with me shows me a lot, Scott.
i am having recurring panic attacks i'm mentally drained physically exhausted and a shell of the person i was i wish you cared more about me and wanted to protect me and leave with me without me having to beg if you came here looking for love scott and we found it why are you not leaving with me okay yep that's that's quite a lot there from gia um especially since she came back the next day uh
screenshot two now scotland goes can you please come back out i do care i think gia had locked herself in the apartment or the bathroom or something um i did come here for love babe i just wanted you to understand that what we are doing isn't hard now if you want to go then we won't do this thing today referring to the feedback week where they spoke with other people
