Chapter 1: What led to the downfall of Danny in the latest episode?
Hello and welcome back to the Maths Money Podcast and happy reunion day to those of you who celebrate which I'm guessing is all of you since you're listening to our podcast Unmarried at First Sight.
In this episode I'm going to be documenting the current downfall of Danny and how his master plan has now backfired and blew up in his face and the viewers of this show, especially the women, they've turned.
I think Dani is the real villain all along. And the biggest villain on mass was Danny. Okay, someone's got to say it. Very early on, I saw through his shit. I saw that he was gaslighting Beck. I said this in my recaps.
And any viewers still on the fence about Danny, they may see things a little differently once I read some messages that his friend has been sending me recently. And I also let you know what unseen moments are coming up on the final episode of After The Dinner Party. Now, for full transparency here, I've said all season that I am not a fan of Danny.
And I usually make my judgment of a cast member based off both my personal experiences with them, if I have some, and how I personally interpret their behavior on the show.

Chapter 2: How have Danny's friends attempted to discredit Beck?
And as I've already said on this podcast, Danny was rude and arrogant the one time we probably spoke, which was about... two and a half weeks into filming last year. And during that conversation in the Bondi Icebergs night, he was just so focused on telling me how much money he makes, how much money he sends to his family, how many followers his friends have, how many followers I have.
And I just instantly came to the conclusion that this guy is only here once. for fame and attention.
And then watching him on the show over the last two and a half months, seeing how he strung back along, who he never had any interest in, let's be honest, just to break her heart at the end so he could have his big moment, has also told me he, again, was just more interested in airtime and recognition. than anything else.
And for most of the season, his plan to end as a hero and loved by all was working because the worse that Beck's behavior was as part of the mean girls, the more viewers just felt sorry for Danny and called themselves a fan of him. And again, the more outrageous Beck was and then the more calm Danny was that you couldn't help but go, oh, he's a nice guy.
And like, he loved that that was happening and he has been taking... advantage of that like he's had an entire social media strategy with his best friend Will that Channing Tatum stripper guy lookalike whatever he does and they've been pumping out content together pretty much daily across Instagram Facebook TikTok to just
like capitalize off this current popularity while it's there and get as many followers as he can now while the show is airing. And Danny has also been loving the fact that he's got so many female viewers sliding into his DM saying, you're such a great guy. You deserve better than Beck. And like, he's been hooking up with some of them as I discussed in an early episode of this podcast.
Again, nothing wrong with that. Like you're single, go have fun. But to me, it's very telling of Danny All these reasons I believe he was on the show. But now, here's the problem for Dani.
As this season has dragged on and on over the last two and a half months, and we saw Beck, who, yes, has been unhinged and her behavior's been pretty bad, to say the least, with other people, as we watched her actually fall in love and develop serious feelings for Dani, and we watched Dani, in response, just continue to string her along,
and have no feelings for her, that sympathy for a lot of people, which they initially had, just became like confusion as viewers started to ask themselves, like, why is this guy even still here? Like, why hasn't he written leave? What's he doing? He clearly does not like this woman who is falling in love with him. Then, as we finally got to the final vows last week, it obviously all became clear.

Chapter 3: What social media strategies has Danny employed during the show?
And then you have to remember as well, Beck has been saying,
constantly how in the days and weeks leading up to those final vows how danny had apparently been telling her hey i think i'm falling in love with you hey wait till the end i'm gonna say those three words so when we saw her extreme reaction which was just sad to watch regardless of what you think of her behavior throughout the season it is clear there was more to it and how she did
genuinely believe and yeah if you jump on social media the past week after we watched him dump Beck everyone is pretty much saying the same thing and the biggest villain on mass was Danny okay someone's got to say it at least with Jira and Beck you knew how they felt at least you knew where they stood to lie to someone's face for months to sleep with someone four times right before you're planning on breaking up with them and saying that you're not feeling it then to top it off by saying that they're your soulmate as your best friend
Excuse me? That's not a thing. Exceptionally cruel.
And Abby Chatfield has been quite vocal with her take on everything.
A lot of you were saying that you feel bad for Beck this morning, right? You're saying, oh my God, I feel so bad. I feel so bad. Why the fuck do you feel bad? It would be a punishment to be with Danny. It would be a punishment. Why would we want somebody to be with Danny? Like, I'm not saying he's some evil, evil, awful guy. Who knows, right? I don't know the bloke.
But looking at the lack of emotional depth alone, looking at the way that he makes, I would say, mean jokes when he says, ''Yeah, your cousin fancies me.'' The way that he goes, I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Beck when he's on the couch. He's a bad partner from what we've seen, from what we've seen. Maybe there's things missing, but I don't feel sorry for Beck at all.
I'm happy she got away from him.
And in response to the public narrative changing over the last week or so, which this is the first time Danny has copped negativity like this, a few things have happened. Firstly, the daily social media content that Danny has been pushing out has just stopped and he's gone silent and there's been no interviews.

Chapter 4: Why did viewers' sympathy for Danny begin to wane?
I do it based off, yes, what Danny tells me. Yes, true, but more through my frustration of watching the show and seeing her lies. Probably no different to anybody else who leaks you info. They are all giving you info because they know someone who tells them stuff. You have no idea what he went through or continues to go through. She gets drunk and starts abusing him while the episodes are on.
All the lies she tells and says, how much she's changed and that she's not that person. Danny continues to cop shit weekly. So yes, when I see you continuing to lie, I occasionally feel like telling you. It's got fuck all to do with Danny telling me to do it. He wouldn't even know I am. I just do it out of frustration to her bullshit lies. And breathe.
And I never replied to that guy again, and that was a few days ago. And I wasn't going to mention any of this on the podcast, but I've kind of sat with it and been thinking about it. And this is actually just as much part of the overall story of this season as anything else, in my eyes at least.
As you know, throughout the season, I think things have changed in how this show is reported on and covered. And these media games and attempted takedowns and leaked stories, to me at least, that's the most interesting part of it all.
Like when maths first blew up, what, about seven, eight years ago now in Australia, we as viewers and the media, we focused all of our attention on what was happening on screen and those storylines. And then As each season passed, our attention then turned to like the on-screen storylines versus what the cast was saying actually happened during their interviews.
That then turned into the narrative in the media often being about the edit and blaming the producers for things. But now this year, as like the cast feel more desperate for fame than ever, this side of how they're trying to orchestrate the media and use the media and leak things in each other and tear people down to build themselves up and distract from their own scandals.
Like to me, that is now where we're at. in how we cover this show, how we discuss this show, and what is a huge part of this show. So yes, that's why I'm talking about this. Before we move on though, in the sake of being fair, I'll just reiterate what Danny's friend said to me in his last message, how he claimed that Danny wasn't aware he was sending me these messages and sending dirt on Beck.
And he said how Danny didn't tell him to do this. It's your choice. If you believe that or not, personally, I don't because it feels like as the public narrative has started to shift for Danny over the last week or so, he's now at a loss of how he can regain control and he's playing dirty like this because like alongside this friend sending me messages like that, you've also got his other mate.
Will the stripper guy still doing TikToks like me vibing at Danny's wedding knowing it's all gonna end in divorce which he put out after final vows and was kind of mocking final vows and how sad Beck was and actually that same friend of Danny's who was messaging me I've seen today how he's been leaving public comments on the official maths posts on Instagram writing things like
