Can ten minutes of red light really outperform a $200 anti‑aging serum?
What if I told you that ten minutes of red light on your face could do more for your skin than a two hundred dollar serum? I know that we've been conditioned to believe that the right serum and the right product. And you know me, I love skincare. So, yes, there are products that are really good, but red light can do more than a lot of $200 serums. So before you think that red light therapy is a wellness trend that sounds too good to be true, I totally get it. I've been there and I thought the same thing. But here's what really got my attention: I had a face exercise client. Client I had been working with for about three months, and she was seeing really great progress. In fact, being consistent, her results were pretty impressive already.
But she got to a specific point where she felt like she had hit a plateau, and we were just toying with some different modalities and things to see what could push her past that wall that she felt like she was hitting. And so we decided to add red light therapy as a support tool to her exercises. And over the next three months, the change was really hard to ignore. And I I would say each week it was just like, wow. And then the next week, wow, right? And so her eyes, they began to look brighter, more alive. There was a firmness that was taking place. And just to put into context, this was a 70-year-old lady who had hooded. Eyes, very deep set crinkles in her eyes. And so each week there was more and more that was happening that it was just really impressive.
So the red light therapy paired with those face exercises, they gave her skin a chance to respond again, all the support that was needed to do that. So these are not typical results. So I do want to say that clearly up front. I don't want anybody to think that they're gonna run out and buy a red light therapy device and then all of a sudden they're gonna have these miraculous results. But I will say red light therapy it has become more of a a true support tool than just a beauty trend in my mind. My health nerd, the brain part of me just kicked in gear. I had to know more. And so I'm going to share with you some basics and I will be following up in future with more red light therapy because you can't get it all in one one episode.
But by the end of this video, what you're going to understand is how red light therapy works, why it can support Poor aging skin and then how to use it without wasting time or falling for any gimmicks and wasting your money on those things. So if we haven't met yet, I'm Michelle Rose, host of Making Life Beautiful Again. And I love helping Christian midlife women rebuild beauty and confidence without chasing youth and hiding from the mirror or making beauty feel vain, right? Because I truly believe it's all about stewardship. And caring for what God has entrusted us with. That is why I love conversations like this one. I've spent many years researching non-toxic beauty practices, and red light therapy is one of those.
And it's actually one of the most scientifically backed tools that I have found.
How does red light therapy boost cellular energy and support mitochondria?
So I'm not, I'm not telling you to go out and replace everything with red light therapy, but when paired with the right skincare products and face access sizes it really can be a game changer. Hello gorgeous. Are you feeling weighed down by the physical and emotional changes that come with midlife? And feeling lost and wondering who you are now that your kids are grown? Do you wake up in the morning, look in the mirror, and barely recognize the woman staring back at you? Welcome to Making Life Beautiful Again, where midlife women find the guidance and encouragement you need to navigate this unique season with confidence and grace. Hey, I'm Michelle, an empty nester, grandma and Jesus lover. I know firsthand what it feels like to wrestle with self-doubt and inner critic during midlife, and I tried every beauty trick in the book, hoping to feel better, but the mirror kept reflecting my fears.
And I had to ask myself, am I still beautiful? Do I still have a purpose? And then one day I had a breakthrough and fell in love with the incredible woman in the mirror.
