Today, I am blessed to have here with me Erik Levi, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner.
Erik Levi is a co-founder of HolisticNootropics.com and a certified holistic nutritional therapy practitioner. As an NTP Erik takes a nutrition first approach to health. He has worked with many different people to help them use nutrition to optimize their quality of life.
Erik believes that mental health is a physiological process and cognitive enhancement is not something that can be achieved by just taking some pills with good Amazon reviews.

Erik was tired of feeling terrible. So, he was ready to start looking for solutions.
There’s a lot of wrong ways to be healthy. Lean Cuisines is the best example of this.
At one point, Erik went vegan.

Plus, he will take different mushroom powders each day.
Don’t take supplements to get rid of them; throw them away if you don’t need them.

BDNF is a brain-derived neurotrophic factor.
It’s a lifestyle phenomenon.
Exercise is the best way to get BDNF.
Daily movement and resistance training will be total game-changers.

Overall, BDNF is a principle of life.
Keep growing, learning, and challenging yourself.

The best thing for lowering postprandial glucose is dihydroberberine.
Chromium will also work.
Plus, cinnamon and banaba leaf have been shown to have effects.
However, Erik says that you should always stack your day for success in the morning.
Eat a high-protein and high-fat breakfast to keep you from having sugar highs and lows.

Digestion is tied to sleep and the circadian rhythm.
