PAUSE Now, allow yourself to feel your body morphing, and instead of floating on top of the waves, you are darting in and out of them. You are playing in the waves, and it is pure joy. You are a beautiful, sleek dolphin. PAUSE As you play in the waves, every now and then, you roll on your back and slap your tail in the water. You squeal with delight as the water splashes on and around you. PAUSE Now, imagine if you can, seeing a big, brown pelican perched on a buoy, as if standing at attention. PAUSE You swim to the pelican with grace and ease. And, as you arrive at the buoy, you pop your head out of the water, and begin chatting with pelican, and happily splashing the surface with your fins. PAUSE As you swim, you find a pod of dolphins, and begin leaping through the waves with them. Together you swim and chat with clicks and squeaks, all while enjoying the beauty and feel of the water as it slides over your skin. PAUSE Now, take a deep breath, and find yourself dry and back in the present moment. Take a moment and reflect on your experience as a dolphin. PAUSE As your heart and mind connect with the dolphin, you become aware that your consciousness has embraced the animal’s playful joy. You become aware that there needs to be more time for play in your life. And, that no one can really steal your joy. So, remember, every day, to take time to swim with the dolphin in your soul.
