Chapter 1: What details have emerged about the ICE shooting in Minneapolis?
Homeland Security reveals a key new detail from the fatal ICE shooting in Minneapolis as six federal prosecutors resign over the case.
If they feel the need to resign because of orders they have gotten, that is a great statement on their part that this is not tolerable by them. Plus, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz faces impeachment charges.
I'm Georgia Howe with Daily Wire Executive Editor John Bickley. It's Thursday, January 15th, and this is Morning Wire.
We are willing to work with people when it's about murder and when it's about crime. But the truth is that this ain't about that. As Minneapolis officials double down on their anti-ICE agenda, the agency ups the ante in the city.
And the House Oversight Committee moves to hold the Clintons in contempt over the Epstein investigation.
It's unfortunate the Clintons didn't show because this was a bipartisan.

New information has come to light on the condition of the ICE agent involved in the shooting of Renee Good. Meanwhile, prosecutors tasked with looking into Good's activist background keep leaving the Justice Department.
Here to talk more about the latest in the investigation is Daily Wire reporter Tim Pierce. So, Tim, we have some new information about this agent's health status after being struck by Goods' car. What have we learned?
Well, according to the Department of Homeland Security, Goods' vehicle struck the ICE agent hard enough to cause some amount of internal bleeding. Secretary Noem had previously said that the officer was hospitalized after the incident and then released later that same day, but she never said the extent of the officer's injuries.
We also learned on Tuesday that the agent and his family have gone into hiding. Here's Borders R. Tom Homan on the podcast Will Kane Country on that.
There are wanted posters with his picture, his license plate number, you know, and the death threats against him and his family.
According to NBC News, some of the agent's neighbors saw people with moving boxes at the agent's house last week. The attention on the agent after the Goode shooting has been so significant that even some of the neighbors have talked about temporarily leaving the neighborhood until it all settles down.
While the controversy over this ICE-involved shooting is still burning, there was another ICE-involved shooting last night in Minneapolis. According to Homeland Security, the ICE officer was struggling with a suspected illegal alien when two more people ambushed and hit the officer with a shovel.

Chapter 4: How is the ICE agency responding to protests in Minneapolis?
Both the suspect and officer were hospitalized, and the other two assailants were taken into custody. The incident, of course, drew police and a large crowd of protesters. And this was after Minnesota Governor Tim Walz made an address last night and called for protests against ICE.
Let's be very, very clear. This long ago stopped being a matter of immigration enforcement. Instead, it's a campaign of organized brutality against the people of Minnesota by our own federal government.
Now, on a related note, the investigation itself into this incident in the state of Minnesota has become very controversial. We've heard reports that some of the Justice Department officials that are in charge of investigating this have now resigned. What do we know?
Right. Reports say that at least half a dozen prosecutors have resigned from the Minneapolis U.S. Attorney's Office. All of them were assigned to investigate the Rene Good incident. The resignations even included Assistant U.S. Attorney Joe Thompson, who led the prosecution of the Feeding Our Future cases that implicated dozens from the Twin Cities Somali community.
According to the New York Times, Thompson objected to limits placed on the case to not investigate whether the shooting was lawful. nor to include state law enforcement in the investigation. Instead, the investigation has in part focused on Good's ties to activist groups that aim to disrupt ICE operations.
According to several reports, the ICE watch groups that Good and her wife joined monitor ICE's movements and attempt to warn people, presumably illegal aliens who would have been picked up by ICE, that agents are in an area. But sometimes those activities border on what could be obstruction of federal law enforcement.
Activists like Goode have gotten in the way of federal agents carrying out raids or arrests.
Well, and on top of that, we're now seeing a barrage of threats toward ICE agents, so it's become a pretty risky job. Pivoting to Tim Walz, he now is facing articles of impeachment. Who brought those?
Yeah, a group of state Republican lawmakers say that Wallace should be impeached over the vast amount of fraud that has taken place in Minnesota under his watch. State Representative Mike Weiner told Newsweek that since Walls said the buck stops with him, he should have resigned immediately. And since he hasn't, Weiner said, quote, the next step is impeachment. Our taxpayers are demanding this.

Chapter 5: What new information has been revealed about the health of the ICE agent involved?
And again, with those whistles they're blowing, they're honking their horns. And then once the ICE agents are getting out of their car, they're standing right across from them. They're yelling really nasty things at them. But those ICE agents, at the same time, it's like water off their back. They're walking into those arrest sites.
They're going into that apartment complex, for example, where we were. And they're knocking on the door, and they're trying to get their target to come out. to, you know, be able to effectuate an arrest. They're up against a lot, but they're still going out there. Now, we didn't see any of those arrests being made. None of those people came out.
And I think that's really the story here is that you have ICE agents who are out there trying to make arrests, who are trying to continue this despite all this pushback. Now, teams... We're out there in other areas of the city, other federal teams, because we know this is a larger effort. There's about 3,000 federal agents that have been deployed. So they're out there.
There were a lot of arrests made outside of that, but it just shows you what these officers are up against.
Well, we've all seen how quickly these things escalate, so we're glad you came back safely from that ride along with ICE. Jenny, thank you so much for reporting.
Thank you.
Bill and Hillary Clinton are refusing to comply with a subpoena in the House Oversight Committee's investigation into Jeffrey Epstein.
Daily Wire political reporter Cameron Arcand has more. So Cameron, what are the Clintons saying?
So in a very lengthy statement posted earlier this week, they said that they are not planning on complying with the subpoena given by the House Oversight Committee. citing the current political climate, saying that this is about right versus wrong. And they've also said and claimed that their attorneys have found that these subpoenas are legally invalid.
