Oh, the Tybalt Top are outplaying us. We aim to amuse and we aim to enthuse. Morris is unofficial. Tybalt Top are bitchy. Oh, doggy. Ha!
A. Morrus 0:17
Hello, hello, hello, and welcome to Morris' unofficial table drop RPG talk. I am Russ, aka Morris, or Morris, aka Russ.
PJ Coffey 0:29
And with me this week is... PJ Coffey from the Southampton Guild of Rollclad is also from Homer and Hacking TTRPG Design. I am delighted to be here, and quite possibly going for one of the fastest possible introductions I could possibly come up with, certainly spoken like one of those auctioneers, or possibly some sort of Kentucky Derby sort of sales commentator and so forth, joining us also. And I am pleased, delighted to announce that she has never once, to the best of my knowledge, submitted an application, depending on your time zone, Led a mob of people bearing pitchforks, torches, and other accoutrements associated with mob violence. It is what? It is lonely. It is.
Jessica (Jess) Hancock 1:10
It is me, Jessica from EM Publishing. And that is true. I have not led an angry mob, but I have accidentally formed a few cults.
PJ Coffey 1:19
Yeah, yeah.
A. Morrus 1:19
I mean, I hear that. You say accidentally.
Jessica (Jess) Hancock 1:23
Yes. Some of them happened by accident.
Jarmo Kekalainen 1:26
Because some of them were deliberate.
Jessica (Jess) Hancock 1:28
Well, I'm not going to say on a public forum.
PJ Coffey 1:32
We for certain love the charisma of it for us. These sort of things just happen. But you know what? Don't worry about it. It's not something you have to worry about too much.
Jessica (Jess) Hancock 1:40
But we're not here.
Jarmo Kekalainen 1:42
We do.
Jessica (Jess) Hancock 1:44
I was intrigued to see we had news because I thought this would be the lull before Gen Con. Because it was the night before Gen Con or the week before Gen Con.
A. Morrus 1:54
There's a lot of news coming out at Gen Con. We know that Wizards has got its keynote speech on, I think it's Thursday night. So there's a ton of news coming out about that. Yes. Lots of interesting news is coming out on that. So we'll be talking about that next week. I know there's a Vampire the Masquerade announcement coming, but I don't know what that is. So there's going to be a whole bunch of stuff coming out. So next week's going to be jam-packed full of stuff.
Jarmo Kekalainen 2:25
But we have stuff this week as well.
A. Morrus 2:27
We do, we do. Really? Amazing. We've got some stuff.
Jarmo Kekalainen 2:30
All right. What was that one?
A. Morrus 2:32
Have you heard of Jimothy?
Jarmo Kekalainen 2:34
Yes.
A. Morrus 2:35
Oh, yes. Jimothy is a raccoon in Seattle. And Jimothy has been showing up on social media and news outlets for a while now. Yes. So Jimothy is a raccoon that looks a bit odd.
Jessica (Jess) Hancock 2:56
Has a spinal condition.
A. Morrus 2:57
Yeah, some kind of spinal condition.
PJ Coffey 2:59
Short spying condition.
A. Morrus 3:00
Yeah. Yeah. And it's basically turned into a sort of social media star slash meme over the last week or two. But apparently it does appear to be generally healthy and active generally, just apart from that, you know.
Jessica (Jess) Hancock 3:19
He just looks a bit different. He looks like a fluffy puffball with really long legs. Delightful.
PJ Coffey 3:28
That's awesome, but at the risk of being labelled pedantic and a wet blanket, why is this worthy of inclusion on the TTRPG news? Has Timothy produced a game
Jessica (Jess) Hancock 3:44
It's not Timothy. It's Jimothy.
PJ Coffey 3:47
That's the way I am. Has Jimothy produced a game? Yeah. I know how to say Jimothy.
Jessica (Jess) Hancock 3:51
Well, we haven't. It's currently embargoed about whether or not Jimothy has produced a game, but we do have some news we can share this week.
A. Morrus 3:57
It's embargoed. Yes.
Jessica (Jess) Hancock 3:59
Because Jimothy's got plans at Gen Con.
A. Morrus 4:01
Jimothy has D&D official D&D stats coming from Wizards of the Coast. This appeared on D&D Beyond. So Jimothy, beloved cryptic, is a tiny beast. He's CR one quarter. He has 17 hit points. okay if i make him a little larger bear you can see him a bit better he's got he's got an ability to hurl garbage which does bludgeoning damage and the target is stinky until the start of jimothy's next turn he's to charm people and nibble people apparently his bite is like a short sword yes yeah yeah yeah um
PJ Coffey 4:46
takes a dash or hide action as a bonus action. Doesn't provoke opportunity attacks or moves out of enemy's reach. Good lord. Wow. A move for a space as small as four inches without expending it. Yeah, like, you know, I think I'd like to reskin these for my next time I wish to discourage my players from going into a place.
